I grew up in Sunset Park but moved out of state years ago. This hotel was perfect—close to my old neighborhood, allowing me to visit family, park easily, and walk everywhere. Everything was spotless, the room was fresh, and I’ll definitely be back in April! Can’t wait to try the smoothies and get there early enough for the entrées!

Sunset Park

Very comfortable and clean and the staff is always extremely accomodating. You can see the Statue of Liberty from the top floor, and there's great views!

Room was clean and spacious. Well located for my needs. I declined breakfast for an additional fee because it didn’t appeal to me and it was easier to swing by the Bagel Pub. Room decor very 90s. Took me a while to get my head around the AC. Coffee machine in the room not working. No idea how this place has supposedly 4 stars

Staff are THE BEST. Professional, friendly, helpful. Felt like staying with friends. Room was beautiful. Sunset Park is a great neighborhood in Brooklyn. Love this hotel!

There was water running out the bathroom into the walk way everytime we showered. And no, we didn’t have the shower door open. The toilet took a long time to flush everytime as well. Comfy pillows though.

The staff, Elmer and the other gentleman were pleasant when we arrived. When I called down for a few things each time asking for something, an employee arrived very quickly which I appreciated. When we checked out the attendant gave my daughter a lollipop which was kind of him to do. I only had 2 complaints. The first one is that there are only 11 parking spaces on the property, so you have to drive around looking for parking. My second complaint was the attitude and lack of initiative taken by the Saturday night front desk attendant. When we left the hotel around 8:30 Saturday the snow began to fall. When we returned 3 hours later no one had cleaned the sidewalk or the walkway to the front door or even put down salt. When we mentioned it to the attendant he said, "I will let my husband know." If I was litigious, you would have heard from my lawyer since my 83-year-old mother fell down outside on your sidewalk! this could have been prevented!

The Hotel itself was not bad but would probably never go back due to the service experience. Went out and upon return was questioned by Lobby staff and had to shyly room key to prove I was a hotel guest. Additionally, hotel parking spaces were tight, limited and expensive.
