Great hotel!

A convenient place to stay when we visit family in New Jersey. It’s clean, the bed comfortable, excellent customer service and a great convenience with shuttle to and from the airport. We also appreciate the buffer breakfast. Will definitely recommend Kenilworth hotel to others.

We stay at the Kenilworth when we visit NJ. This trip was the best yet. Check in so easy and checking out was also very simple. I got a $14 credit to use so it was helpful getting Gatorade and water at 1am after being on a flight.

The Kenilworth hotel was for the most part only slightly above average. The room was clean and everything worked. However, as with many hotels, the HVAC was very noisy. The staff was responsive and polite.

Rooms need updates to the window treatment, carpet, water pressure, microwave and coffee makers are too small. Cleaning staff esp. Daly was awesome. Front desk from 11 to 7am was awesome. I experienced an issue with my room and she moved me to another room immediately, only issue with that was I asked for the owner to contact me and still no word. Front desk staff did their best to assist and I truly appreciate that. Breakfast is modest, I am a cook and i know it's cheaper to serve freshly cooked food instead of what they serve.

The hotel has a great interior aesthetic, and was very comfortable. My wife and I didn't arrive until after midnight, and had to leave early the next morning, so we didn't explore, but the staff at the front desk was super friendly, the room was great, the bed was very comfortable, and we got a little gift bag of snacks and water. We had less than 10 minutes for the complimentary breakfast, but it was pretty good. No fruit, but eggs, bacon, muffins, orange juice, cereal, etc. And a really great coffee machine that grinds the beans fresh before every cup/shot. I wish I had a little more time at the hotel. It was raining during our stay, and as I mentioned, it was night time, but the hotel itself was great. I probably won't fly out of EWR again, and will avoid NJ altogether on my next trip to NYC, but rating the hotel itself, I was impressed.
