Located between Newport and Balboa Piers this mid Century 4 unit building on West Balboa Blvd Is perfect for short walks to either Pier and many fine restaurants, as well as the Balboa Ferry and the Catalina Flyer. This Studio apartment has a full kitchen. There is a comfy queen size captain's bed with storage underneath and ample closet and drawer space. Side tables are laptop tables to provide a workspace. Amenities include Smart TV, Cable, free Wifi, coin op washer and Dryer, there is a gas BBQ with table and chairs on a shared patio space. 2 Tommy Bahama Beach chairs and Boogie Boards are provided and stored in the garage with the laundry. This is a ground floor unit. There is a small bathroom with a NEW SHOWER!. Street Parking only. Quite hours are very important. No animals allowed on property due to allergies. This apartment is in a quiet neighborhood close to the ocean and the bike/walking path that will take you to the pier, restaurants, and shops. It's very comfortable and we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay, including beach towels and chairs. Loved the shared patio, too!

It would be a 5 star, but they are stingy with supplies. We ran out of garbage sacks, shampoo and conditioner, and toilet paper. 1 and 1/2 rolls for 2 adults for 7 nights. It was hard to find toilet paper on foot.

A great, affordable option in a less-than-affordable area! I was in town for work, the property was just what I needed and the hosts were responsive. GREAT location, quiet. If you are going to spend a lot of time out of the apartment, this is the perfect choice.

Check in was easy. Kitchen was a full kitchen. Stocked well. Except for spices. Not enough tp. No box of tissues. No dish rags and only one dish towel. Not a big deal really. We bought tp. The unit has lots of storage. Bed very comfy. Really liked the outdoor area. Had a lovely breakfast out there. Used beach chairs and umbrellas.would stay here again. Would refer to friends too

small, but very adequate

Everything was very well stocked. The shower was a little small to be able to wash your feet. This unit did not have a garage to park in even though there were three empty garage spaces. That would’ve made it a lot better if we didn’t have to hunt for street parking.

Short beach get-away

Studio apt was very well equipped!! Although we didn't use the kitchen much during our short stay, I was impressed with how well it is equipped!!! Instructions on the use of the apt were very clear & appreciated. The only suggestion is to put the outside address # in a place that can be seen from the street. When the patio umbrella is up, the address # is not visible from the street.

Great location

Great place for our weekend get away. Enjoyed the ease of parking which can be hard in a coastal town, great price and location nestled between the ocean and bay. Walkable to all the sites, restaurants and stores. Would stay again, as we plan on doing this trip yearly now.
