Service here is terrible. We stayed in the Palace. Breakfast food was great but after being there an hour on the second day I left without even seeing a menu let alone having an order taken. The strict no children policy was ignored to the point that at evening cocktails half of the tables had children. Even babies in high chairs etc. It was hard to get a table. It was hard to get cutlery. It was just hard. We went to the lounge on 5 occasions and ordered food and drink 19 times. 16 of those I had to go and find someone to order. When I went to reception to talk to the manager about the various breaches of Ayodya's own rules I was told that he wouldn't be available for over an hour as he was about to go on his break. Pretty much sums up my experience here. A shame it's a beautiful property.

Beautiful property! The garden’s pool and grounds are stunning. The entrance is just amazing. We were greeted with a beautiful gong! The beach is beautiful and the ocean is so clear. The only thing I didn’t like is the trash in the water and on the beach!

The Ayodya’s grounds are stunning. Unfortunately the rooms need a refresh and are tired and in my option not 5*. The breakfast is good and has a lot of options. The facilities are good but when we went the pool was not clean again not something I expect from a 5*. Location is great we enjoyed the courtesy bikes riding out to the blow hole a few rimes, the games by the beach and the beach area are superb. Food is very expensive in the hotel but there is a beach bar just next to the hotel on the beach that is very good food and reasonable

This hotel was an excellent stay. Very remote, quiet, tranquil, on the beach. Had various restaurants to choose from, food is ok, and expensive. I was upgraded from a standard suite, which was nice, to the Mandavi suite with a private pool. Our suite was located next to the palace lounge which was a treat. The grounds are well kept and the staff was a pleasure to encounter. The only negative thing to mention, they have to pay attention to cleaning bathrooms thoroughly, especially toilets, and vacuum rugs due to sand build up and dirt from previous guest. The Bali Connection Mall is within walking distance. The Balinese dinner show was amazing. I really enjoyed my stay, my first choice if I return again.

Took an hour to check into your typical standard room expected from any hotel let alone a supposed 5 star hotel. At first, given a room that was right next to a room that was being renovated. Jackhammer was extremely loud and vibrating the room. Also the small of fuel coming from the generator was very strong. Then was moved to room with a foul odour coming from the bathroom. The people of Bali are unbelievably kind, but employees in this hotel are badly let down by management. Very poor training and communication across the whole hotel. We had booked a transfer by the hotel to a wedding we were attending and were quoted a price of $12K rupiah and they then changed the price to $21K just as we were leaving to our destination. Also we departed 15m after the requested time that was agreed. DO NOT use their transport services! Taxi back for 8m drive was $3K Pools are nice and rooms are spacious, but nearby hotels are far superior. Food at hotel was the worst we had anywhere in the area. Also management are dismissive of any feedback should anything go wrong. Gave feedback that the menu on website was not the same as in restaurant and told why would you look at the website, our menu is new.

Our stay was wonderful with stayed with family the only complain is we paid for all inclusive but it was confusing what was included and what wasn’t service in some restaurants are very slow but the people are very polite drinks by the ocean are the best even at the restaurants a simple mojito wasn’t good don’t be surprised by having to sign bills for everything you consume even popsicles
