Had a reaction to the bed sheets and broke out in a rash. Requested to have sheets changed on a Wednesday and they just made the bed. Once again requested to have sheets changed in a Friday just to have the bed made again, no sheets changed. The front desk people were great but they could never get housekeeping to do what was requested.

Called maintenance because room had cold air blowing instead of heat in late October. Took him a while to make it warmer but the next day the cold air was back. Other hotels do the same thing and pretend they aren't aware of it. Why do they do this? Then the bathroom door doesn't stay closed? Why? I don't mean it just doesn't lock, I mean you can't close the door all the way! How gross! Lol I was at the sane hotel 10-12 years ago before the renovations when the rooms were so much larger and contained full kitchens, with a full size oven & dishwasher. Now the room is tiny with half sized DW and no oven at all! Just the micro. So this was a big disappointment. Plus I made the reservation 5 months in advance to make sure I got the room I wanted and when I get there they tell me they don't have my room available anymore because it's an extended stay hotel so they let people extend their stay. So they wanted me to take a lesser room because they had that one open. They also wanted to give me a regular room when I reserved an accessible one. Do you think I would reserve an accessible one if I didn't really need that? Not to mention they changed the name on my reservation when I gave my ID. I asked the gentleman to put it back to the original name and he pretended to in front of me but didn't really do so because our name shows on the TV. Ha Ha Ha. So unless you really need a hotel in this location, there's no other reason to pick this hotel. But it's convenient walk for grocery

We were 5 miles away from Sleepy Hollow with a close exit to the thruway. Everything was really nice here! My only (kind of) dislike was that our room had a door that could go to another room, WHICH made everything they did loud. You can hear everything and they started banging around at 7am on the weekend. Not techically the hotel's fault, but there needs to be a bit more noise stiffling for rooms that have this so I can hear them doing dishes, sneezing and what ever else they do.

I stayed here for a week, and unfortunately, it was one of the more disappointing hotel stays I’ve had. The bathroom door in my room was so misaligned I had to lift it just to close it. The bathroom itself wasn’t clean — there was orange and pink buildup around the base of the shower and toilet that looked like mold or corrosion. The bed was uncomfortable, with hard spots and a musty smell that lingered through the whole room. Dust covered the lamps, nightstands, and surfaces — it was clear the room hadn’t been properly cleaned in a while. The dresser holding the TV was pulled two feet from the wall, with the electrical plates hanging off — not exactly safe. In the kitchen, something was stuck in the garbage disposal, and the dishes were dirty when I arrived. Breakfast was just as rough — eggs were watery and rubbery, bacon and sausage tasted microwaved, and the muffins were dry. The only decent items were the waffles, yogurt, and fruit. Even the bar was tiny and underwhelming. Overall, this property needs serious attention to cleaning, maintenance, and food quality. For the price of a week-long stay, I expected far better.
