For what we needed the hotel for, it delivered. A ton of things for the kids to do, family friendly, convenient dining options, and a home base central to other things in the area. If you’re looking for a restful place though, you’re better off somewhere else. The atrium was freezing all the time because of the ice rink in the middle of everything, so you always need a sweatshirt. Quiet hours also didn’t start until 11pm, and the rooms were not soundproof, so you could hear EVERYTHING happening outside. The mattresses were as hard as a rock and were not comfy. And at two times during our visit the heat went out in our rooms. Staff was very nice and accommodating, and sent someone literally immediately when something in the room was off. As a family vacation spot in the winter, it was exactly what we needed. But you do sacrifice a lot of comfort for the convenience.

This was first time I ever stayed down in OC and I booked room for family for my boyfriend’s birthday and the place was horrible. Kids running around everywhere jumping on elevators by themselves no supervision staff did not say anything. There was only 1 elevator for ocean front way and I can’t imagine how it is in summer it was beyond crowded this past weekend and had to wait for elevators forever! The Refrigerator was sweating it wasn’t cooling the bathroom had mold in ceiling . Pool area had kids running around and a lot of children under the age of 16 were in there and staff didn’t. Say a word, a boy that was around I would say 14 15 weighed at least 100 pounds did cannon ball in the hot tub! There was no towels in pool area and I went to front desk to ask for some and the lady at front desk was ignorant and told me go pool and when I get done to come back to front desk for towels! I said are u serious we’re suppose to run back out here soaking wet with it already being cold in there! I DONT recommend the motel at all! I checked out and girl at check out I told her everything she was gonna send it to manager and she was in meeting and she would call me in 20 minutes. I waited. Now it’s Monday I had to call into the motel because I hadn’t heard from her. It was Lisa that was suppose to call me. Well I call and guess who answered Lisa and I let her have it. I said well I’m glad u think of your customers! I guess you don’t care about what customer complains about your motel

There was blood and mold on the curtain. It was rhe beginning of November, and rhe heat in the rooms hadn't been turned on yet. The warmest it got in our room was 66, but it was usually in the low 60's, and that's with the space heater. The room was very uncomfortable.

Balcony view was cut in half by a post and when we tried to switch rooms we were told they were sold out which didn’t quite match the parking lot activity. The room has central air set for 72 and it got warm in there. The air unit had a constant high pitch ringing nose. The carpets were wrinkly and bathroom tub stopper appeared to be moldy.
