The hotel is very dated. Old. The ac in our room did not work. Door stuck. Carpet was dirty. Found a fingernail on the bedspread.Bathroom door stuck. The location was good. No coffee pot in room . I looked on their website before we went and it said every room has a coffee pot.

Water leaked through the bathroom ceiling and when I let the front desk know about it the maintenance guy said it was normal and happened all the time. They were willing to put me in another room but for a sizable increase. Overall it was dirty and wasn’t worth the stay.

Hotel is in a terrible condition, smelly and dirty. Our room for 4 was the size of a shoe closet, no room to move around. Carpets are filthy, furniture was old. Location is great, workers are nice! I would not reccomend this hotel.

The photos of the property do not match what it appears in person. However, the staff was accommodating and nice, but the hallways and equipment are outdated and needs renovations badly. Parking is very limited, we had to walk about two blocks to park in a lot that was owned by them. We had a flood in the bathroom from water that was leaking from the floor above us and was moved to a room that was dry but again very outdated if you are on a budget and don’t care about amenities in the room then this is a place for you. The hotel is convenient, but as far as aesthetics and upgrades, it is not somewhere I would stay again. They had guest sleeping in the lobby. That’s all you need to know, first impression is the last impression. Definitely got cat fished.

Excellent location for OC, right on the boards . But this property needs updating , wall paper sagging in room, , faded pictures on the wall, old furnishings . Wasn’t exactly dirty , but very hard to tell with such old flooring / drapes. My bed was very comfortable so that was a good thing . Not luxury accommodations at all , but good if you are mostly in the ocean or walking the boardwalk.

Very dirty and noisy. The bar with life music was literraly on the other side of the wall and it felt like staying at a dar. We couldn't have rest and sleep untill after 11:30PM. The wall paper was hanging in some areas. The worst place in OC i have ever been

My husband and I love Ocean City Maryland. We usually stay somewhere else, but decided to try Plim Plaza. Not a very clean and friendly property. We liked the closeness to the ocean and the fact that it was on the boardwalk. I would recommend this place.

When I first arrived at the property there was no body soap I had to go out and look for someone to bring more and that took forever.. so I had to go back out and luckily, I found a worker working out by the room and came inside and fill the bottle with body soap. No towels either. Room was very small not even space for the amount of money that the room was. I was not happy with my visit other than just the convenience of having the board walk right outside. I would not return.

We were staying for 4 days and 3 nights. We had to ask 3 times for more washcloths and towels. There were four of us and on day one they had only 4 towels and two washcloths. They never came into rhe room to take the trash and only knocked at door and asked if we needed anything and we asked for washcloths and they said we will have to bring them back to you and they never did until asking 3 times. Parking was horrible. The air conditioning front cover kept falling off. There are no mocrowaves in the rooms. For 400 a night you would think they would give enough washcloths and empty the trash!!! The Grand Hotel. The Commander are definitely better!! Parking was also two blocks away

Found bed bugs on the bed as soon as we went into the room. Immediately requested a refund and checked out. I got a receipt saying the money was going to be refunded and had to go back 3 days later before heading home because they were denying a refund. Not sure if it was Expedia lying or the hotel being difficult but finally was approved for a refund. I would NEVER recommend this place. Staff was friendly but that’s about all.

Stay here for the location and reasonable price. Was right out the door onto the boardwalk. Pool is nice as well. Small room, reasonably clean, etc. Can be loud due to the band at the bar (until 11 pm), but also due to neighbors.

The staff was very friendly, and the location was right on the boardwalk and had direct access to the beach! The pool was nice and like the tiki bar. It gave you that Beach feel! The parking however, was not efficient, the lobby bathroom was not the cleanest and the carpet needed to be replaced.

Pool bar nice and rooms do smell clean is about all I can say. Hotel extremely run down. Scuffs on walls and doors everywhere in hotel, stained carpet through out. Our bathroom floor was soft under tiles. Felt like it would collapse at anytime. Parking lot was terrible..not enough parking to accommodate guest and tight small spaces not easy to move around as its a garage under pool area. Elevator doors shut after a few seconds...1 larger Elevator and one really small one to accommodate 181 rooms. Ice machine not working on our floor. The hallways are wavy , uneven, you will trip easily. Same with parking lot, cracked very uneven asphalt. As much as this costs I would recommend investing in property improvements.
