Time for a refresh!

Our air conditioner didn't work the first night. They did get the compressor to run by the second night, but then the fan switch did not work. The laminate floors were separating and unsafe. The pool and hot tub were not working. The breakfast sausage was like tasteless rubber cement.

Disappointed that the swimming pool and the hot tub had both been closed by the health department prior to our arrival and this was not updated on the hotel's description. This is one of the reasons we booked this hotel. We were offered to walk across the street to use another hotel's pool but found it to be an inconvenience with our stay. Location was great. In and out burger in the parking lot. Major restaurants near by. Easy on and off of the hwy. Walgreen's was straight across the street.

Run down, dirty, loud. Pool and hot tub out of order. Bed sagged in the middle, not very comfortable. Breakfast was some prepackaged muffins and juice, waffle maker with no batter, empty milk jug. I won’t stay here again.

Nothing worked. Tv didn’t work, fridge didn’t work, pool and hot tub didn’t work, toilet would get stuck and run, breakfast was terrible. Keys stopped working. The only thing good about it was the beds were not bad. It was super dusty l, hadn’t been deep cleaned in a long time and it had a stinky aroma in the hotel. Disappointed! Guess u get what u pay for. Will not stay again

We always stay at this hotel when we visit Layton UT. Its close to everything. It's not the swanky hotel, but its affordable and clean and the staff are friends and helpful. This visit over memorial day weekend I reserved a deluxe room, we like the extra space and couch option. I was told because I dont have an animal, I cant have that room. 1. I always reserve and stay in the deluxe rooms 2. I never bring my dog and still have been able to get the reserved room I asked the gentleman at the desk and he said its a pet friendly room, and since we dont have an animal he needs to give us another room. I was to tired to dispute we just drove from Washington state. I'm a rewards member and been one for awhile. Just was disappointed and the customer service.

I bet this property in its heyday was amazing but landlord special is how I’d describe it now. Everything looks to be very dated and just painted over. The showers are built for people under 5’7” floors in the hallway in some places felt soft and quite unsafe on the second and third floors. And then insult to injury the pool was closed. The front desk concierge was nice to get us in the hotel down the road but that’s not the employees fault. And the breakfast was slim compared to other la quintas then others and breakfast was cleaned up earlier than what was posted… Probably will not come back.

By far the most expensive hotel we have stayed in over the last 2 weeks. Picked it because it had a pool and hot tub. Both were closed. The ice machine was out of order and the coffee was cold on the first day. One member of staff was unhelpful. People were sitting on the ground at the entrance smoking. Very uninviting. Would not recommend this hotel.

I was so impressed with the Laquita staff and the deluxe queen suite we stayed in. The room was incredibly clean, well stocked, large and comfortable. Beds were comfortable as well! The staff made sure my pre-arrival requests were met and the ac worked perfectly! There was grass around the hotel for my dogs to use the facilities, parking was close, I was very happy with our stay.

Could barely pull into the parking lot at 4 pm to check in. Left our home early so we could arrive and have time to swim, just to find out the pool was closed! The website still advertised swimming pool and hot tub was available m. Breakfast didn’t include as much as website or reviews had said. On a positive note beds were comfortable and clean.

5 minutes after checking in police were in the parking lot. I had notify the desk that the back door was open and people were streaming in,( can we say security). Met people in the stairway drunk, and smelling of weed. Poor showing for breakfast and toilet almost overflowed each time you flushed. Staff was nice,building in bad part of town.

There was several people hanging around the lobby that were not guests late into the night... The toilet did not work properly. The tub drained very slower. Water would back up in the tub. For continental breakfast, it would have been nice to have a meat available...like bacon or sausage. Hallway had trash along the walls.

Not my first choice

This hotel needs some serious love. I stayed on the 3rd floor. As I was walking down the hallway of the 3rd floor to my room, the floor was very spongy. It seems the carpet is keeping the floor up. The other big thing was the ac unit in the room. It didn't work at all. The bed itself was very comfortable.

Good location for a good price

A one/night stay, was comfortable but needs a bit of TLC. Showing wear on carpets and paint or wallpaper in hallways. Staff was helpful and breakfast was good. Loved the location.

Pool and hot tub were out of order and apparently have been for awhile. Carpet in our room was not clean. The bed was very uncomfortable for a side sleeper. The coffee was very watered down and undrinkable. And the front desk programmed our key cards incorrectly and I was locked out of my room with a crying child having to go back downstairs to get it fixed. Not a great experience. Only plus was the room was spacious.
