When you arrive you get a glass of complimentary champagne, they have bathrobes in your room, complimentary slippers, loofa, bath salts and bath gel. The room was spotless, everything was great. Would highly recommend staying here.

Our first time at Gorges Grant Hotel ...we usually stay elsewhere but wanted a special night. Hotel was at low occupancy (maybe a dozen guests) but we were put in a room with that looked out on a solid wall....dark and dreary. We were told that this room 'was assigned to us early in the day' ...not sure why. We booked on Expedia. If Gorges Grants selectively gives inferior rooms to 3rd party bookings....I can understand when full occupancy, but we felt we were unfairly signaled out. Unfortunately we will not stay there again and I regret we spent extra for a special night and ended up in room that looked out on a solid wall 20 feet away...dark, dreary, and depressed. The hotel could have done better and impressed a retired couple who would have come back rather than discriminating against them and 'pre-selectively booked them in an inferior room.

We stayed there for the weekend. Everything was excellent. The service, breakfast, and room cleaning were all superb. The rooms are spacious. The location is fantastic. It's a 20-30 minute walk to the beach and 10-15 minutes to the city center and restaurants. I recommend it. The reception staff will advise you on where to go, what to see, and will also provide a map. Have a great holiday!
