Parking is free.

The community allows up to 5 cars per unit to enter the resort.

Vehicles must not be parked on the sidewalk nor on the grass.
Street parking is not pemitted.

There are overflow parking spaces, but not guaranteed as they are not assigned nor reserved.

Commercial Vehicles, RVS, Trailers, Buses, Golf Carts or Boats are not allowed at Solterra Resort.

• THIS HOME IS SELF-CATERING
We do provide a small welcome kit to get you started.

Please stop by the nearest supermarket to gather any additional items you may need for the duration of your stay.

• POOL HEAT - OPTIONAL
1-Cost: $35 per day.
2-Request 48 hours in advance.
3-Minimum: 2 consecutive days.
4-Temperature will not exceed 95F.
5-Heater works through HEAT EXCHANGE and WILL NOT WORK in cold weather. If you still would like to heat the pool during cold conditions and it does not reach the desired temperature, we will not be able to offer a refund.

The pool heater pumps have a safety system that prevents overheating of the element when the pump is working overtime in cold weather. It automatically shuts off briefly until the pump can regain its functionality efficiently.
Keep in mind this service is optional and may not be available at times.

There is no daily housekeeping service provided in the rental rate. Before check-in, the unit will be thoroughly cleaned and inspected by a professional cleaning company. Clean sheets and towels will be available in the unit. Mid-stay cleaning services during your stay can be requested for an additional fee.

• ONLINE PURCHASE
If the online seller uses USPS, it will not get delivered as the Post Office does not recognize vacation homes as regular addresses and the package will be returned back to the sender.
Only UPS, DHL and FEDEX delivers them.
In some resorts the packages are delivered to the clubhouse. Fees may apply.

October Vacation

1st the positive. The property was as shown. We found it to be overall comfortable. It had plenty of space for us and even had room for more had we wanted to invite anyone else. The communication with the property managers was excellent. Any time we had an issue with the property, it was addressed and we had maintenance out there. And this is where the positive ends. Too many issues with the property. On our 2nd night there our door code stopped working. We had to call their emergency after hours number to get back in. And get a completely new door code. Fortunately it worked for the rest of our trip. 2nd, our 2nd day there, we saw that the pool was nearly 6" lower than it had been earlier. Found a huge broken spot at the bottom of the pool that's causing a several hundred gallon per day leak. We notified the management about it & were simply told to run the hose to keep it full. Along with this, the pool was not treated at all, no chlorine, no salt, nothing. By the end of our stay, the pool was turning green with algae. 3rd, the downstairs shower just stopped working one day. No water coming out at all. It got fixed, but it's another issue. 4th, one of the upstairs TVs stopped working as well (this one may be hurricane related, the TV screen went black and wouldn't come back on after briefly losing power). But it took until our last day there to get fixed. Finally, while the resort has a large rec area, they charge a separate fee to use it that we were unaware of.

Dead Mice in Air Vents of House - DO NOT STAY HERE

This house smelled horrible, as soon as we opened the door we were hit with the smell. We checked in late so I contacted the management company in the morning about the smell as well as other issues at the house. They sent a maintenance person who was able to fix some things, but not the smell. The next day they sent someone who installed about half a dozen frebreeze plug-ins to cover the smell. The following day (day 4 of our stay) they sent a professional who confirmed there were dead mice in the air vents. The professional company (who I am very thankful for) took a video that showed the droppings and where the mice scratched the tubes to get into the air vents and nest, where they died. My family was getting sick from the smell. I filed a statement with the Better Business Bureau against the property management company. Vrbo needs to do a better job of keeping these property management companies and property owner accountable to maintaining a healthy environment for people to stay, sleep, breathe. Please do not stay here until they have fixed the issue with dead rodents in the air vents.
