The unit itself very new and clean Setback was the bedroom being warm - the AC unit was in the living area Also the TV cable steaming was unusable - streaming froze constantly and could not watch. The building is in need of updating and refreshing. The Hallways are dark and the drop ceiling dirty The carpets in the hallways were dirty and there was a general unpleasant smell. The entire staff however were very helpful and nice and you can’t beat the location.

The room was mostly clean. just the cabinet under the sink had a dead insect . My biggest complain is the old extremely soft mattress. I ended up sleeping with my head were the feet would be. This way I ended up with at least a tiny bit firmness in the mattress. Also the kitchen had no cooktop. Very sad. Only a toaster and a microwave. No eggs for breakfast. Last it took 5 days to receive clean towels. Lost of miscommunication! And after I was told to leave the used towels in the hallway, I received a text message to never leave used towels in the hallway. Very upsetting.

My issue with them is parking. Due to their poor communication I received a $60 parking ticket from the City while parking in front of the hotel with a placard in my window from Tropicals designating that I'm their guest and can legally park on the street. After speaking with a manager they offered to compensate me for the ticket. However, it's been 6 weeks and their office phone stopped going through (I believe they blocked me) and they do not answer emails. In other words, the reneged.

Great location in one of the upscale communities at a reasonable price. The building is historic and resembles the European decor. Staff is so friendly, you feel you're appreciated and will want to come back!

Older building but clean room, excellent bedding, kitchenette was very helpful. Professional staff, warm pool, nice outdoor space with lots of seating options, close to the beach, a supermarket and basically everything you need, very safe area, walking trail along the lake nearby.lake very close

It was extremely clean and comfortable. My room was stocked with lots of extras like beach towels, beach chairs, sun screen, coffee, quality hair dryer, toothpaste, shampoo, and many other extras. I loved the beautiful pool area! The staff very friendly and helpful.

I was disappointed in my stay. No cold water in the shower. I was not available to be there to have them fix it. It was hot water. The toilet rocks on the bottom base and makes the toilet seat crooked. The television did not work. The batteries did not fit in the remote control. The floor was very dirty on our feet. The towel rack was broken off. The bed had no box spring and my significant other had terrible nights of sleep. I feel we deserve some type of compensation for this situation.

I have stayed at this property several times as it is so centrally located and well run. This room was by far my favorite as it has windows facing the street and charming decor. I’ll definitely book it again!

This location is a cute boutique-like hotel, and our room was adorable. With the exception of some loose tile in the bathroom, the room was in great condition with every amenity available. With free valet and an on-site pool, close enough to walk to shops and restaurants, alongside kind staff, we felt pampered. Thanks for a great stay!
