Pet-Friendly

The location is great and the pool is large and open most of the day until midnight. The hotel in pet friendly, but unfortunately I did observe multiple dogs at the pool and a guest even had their dog in the water. I do not think pets should be allowed in the pool but I was not sure what the policy was here. Otherwise, we had a great stay and the Reef bar was excellent.

Booked this "resort" with the hopes to have an amazing getaway with my girls....we were all super excited to get away for the long weekend. Unfortunately upon arriving we were disappointed to see it wasnt what we expected....resort is old and outdated....but we were already there and decided to give it a chance. We got to our suite and waited about an hour for our room to cool off Unfortunately we realized the ac wasnt working....called the front desk and maintenance was quick to respond to our inconvenience....maintenance personnel indicated that it couldn't be fixed he recommended we were to be moved to another room....once moved to another room we were getting ready for our dinner reservations and another problem arised in the new suite....bath tub was clogged the bath tub quickly would fill up with water and would take a while to drain.....called front desk and was informed maintenance was gone for the day....they then proceeded to tell me they'd give us access to another room down the aisle so we could use the shower until the next morning maintenance would arrive. Service was good....employees were really helpful but the establishment needs a renovation.....all these small inconveniences made a difference to our trip.

I loved staying here, and will definitely be back. Being a Hawaiian at heart, this brought me back to my favorite hotel that I used to stay at in Honolulu 40 years ago. Unfortunately, that hotel is long gone, but I have now found a perfect replacement, that is much easier to get to rather than a five hour flight. Mahalo a nui loa for a great couple of days. When my Wife and l arrived to the property check in was fine. We made ourselves to the pool which was nice. We returned to our room to shower. My Wife told me she had a slight strughle with the shower. She did manage to shower , she lndicated that it was hard to work before l got in. I did manage to get it to work and showered after all. The shower control was sticking in the closed postion which was a little bit of a struggle. I called to request an additional half to 1 hr stay due to over sleeping. I called at 11:23 a.m. , the desk clerk mentioned it would be an additional 40.00 . I declined to accept the offer and proceeded to leave on time. No sooner than l hung up the phone with the desk the cleaning lady showed up to ask if we were leaving at 12 pm. I said we were leaving by 12 pm. I found this odd considering this has never been the case in our 21 yrs of staying there. Call it strange of all times. I went to the front desk and returned the keys. I mentioned the shower control in the room to make someone aware of the problem. The clerk told me that l neededto send an email with pics. My reply was lm just lnforming you . Her reply was it was not her responseability ,after l mentioned that it was to just make somebody aware. She continued to carry on about it. I refused to continue the conversation and walked out. My Wife went in to explain what she experienced in the shower as well. The desk clerk decided to give my wife a hard time about it as well . My Wife

The room was extremely hot when we arrived and took 1 day to cool down to a comfortable temperature. Bed comforter was old and torn. Carpet was old, worn and had stains. Shower tub did not drain properly and filled while showering. Ice machine was far away in the workout room. Pool was clean and open late which was nice.

This motel was cool. The pool area was nice and clean. The staff was very nice. The tiki bar was cool and the service and drinks were great. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, but the rooms are old and definitely need upgrades. The price was fair. My only issue was the AC unit did not cool down the room enough.

Very poor hotel

Air conditioner wasn’t working they switched us rooms the next day.Mind you the temperature that day was 102 deg Second room smelled like cigarettes. I had asked if they could atleast accommodate me a late checkout for the bad a/c because of the the first night and female clerk at front desk refused and charged me anyway. Showers need upgrading, toilets flush slow, and the a/c units are extremely outdated. Also they have only 1 ice maker and it’s hidden in the gym area. Not a very good location in such a hot environment. Also there should be more. Will not be staying here again.
