I loved the dog park I didn't have any pets with me during our stay, but it was a treat to see the owners playing with their dog. The pool was gorgeous and well maintained, very refreshing. Would definitely stay again.

Beware of this place! My wife and I stood here and the room smelled like cigarettes as soon as we walked in. We noticed the bed sheets were stained and had hair all over them. The towels in the bathroom were dirty as well. If you like taking a shower, I hope you enjoy cold water because there was no hot water unfortunately. Use this place as a last resort if you are extremely strapped on cash but other than that save yourself the peace of mind and go somewhere else

Not the best neighborhood, uncleaniness factor, intentionally booked non smoking but wreaked of cigarettes. In a pinch, its a spot to get enough rest

Avoid Even if Only Option

Our stay at this hotel was not only uncomfortable and exhausting but also fell shockingly below even the most basic standards of hospitality. The number of issues we encountered made for an unbearable experience: • Upon arrival, our “non-smoking” room reeked of smoke. • The bathroom light and fan were completely nonfunctional, forcing us to use the bathroom by flashlight. • The bedroom light for the third bed did not work. • The air conditioning failed to turn on. • Only one electrical outlet in the entire room was functional. • The outlet powering the fridge and microwave was dead. • The microwave contained leftover food, but the button to open it was broken, preventing its removal. • There was no hot water. • At around 11:00 p.m., after repeated complaints, the bathroom light and fan finally worked when the breaker was replaced. • However, the breakers continued to trip every hour, and each time they did, the room lights turned on automatically because it was a push button with a faulty occupancy sensor. This forced us to get up and turn them off nine times between 11:00 p.m. and 6:30 a.m. • We had someone knock on our door at 3:30 a.m. asking us if everything was working. This experience was beyond unacceptable. We should never have been subjected to such appalling conditions, let alone charged for accommodations that failed so miserably to meet even the most basic expectations.

The property is in kind of an industrial area near the train tracks. It is in a busy road, and the office has some imposing looking signs on it. I was worried that wouldn’t like staying here. I spent two surprisingly quiet nights. The road was quiet after about 9:00 PM and didn’t hear a train at all once I was asleep. The owners kept the common property and my room VERY clean. Obviously this is a point of pride. I didn’t do ANY research before staying here. I would easily stay again. The food at Taqueria Mazatlan across the street is very good, by the way.
