The property was in a safe and quiet neighbourhood with ample parking. However, the property itself is quite dated and the rooms could use a renovation/refresh specifically the carpeted floors and bathrooms. During our 4 night stay we only received one cleaning service. We had to request additional towels twice and beds were not made nor were garbage emptied. Front desk indicated they were short staffed which was unacceptable as an excuse when paying $1800 for a stay. Furthermore, the pool ran out of towels so we had to use our bath towels and robes if we wanted to visit the pool otherwise wait over an hour or two for towels to be replenished. Our key cards were unreliable. We got locked out of our room twice as they did not swipe and needed to wait around for new keys in the hall. Overall safe stay, however the photos are deceiving and the rooms are in need of a refresh and the property would benefit from more reliable staff for the price they charge you to stay here.

Groovy vibe

The bright colored exterior and rooms remind me of the 70’s. Pool was excellent and clean. I used it at night. DJ played music from 12? To 5 pm on weekend, difficult to rest. We had no housekeeping the 4 days we were there but we didn’t need it. Called and got towels. Beds were comfortable and beautiful view of mountains.

First time in Palm Springs and i loved it

The hotel is retro motel on the outside, but the interrior view of the pool area is bright, fun, and magical. Palm springs has a well loved and worn vibe. I will suggest this hitel to friends.

Excellent spot to connect with relatives. Easy to explore and access hikes. I resent the resort fees charged as they were not clearly shown on hotels.com before signing up. Good amenities but…. We would have liked to borrow bicycles but there were no helmets and a strict release form to sign

I loved the vibe of the hotel and pool but the property is rundown and needs a facelift. Good parking, decent food and drinks. The DJ at the pool on Saturday played EDM dance music way, way too loud! People left because of it - you couldn’t nap, read and talk - to f—-kin loud! Weight room was missing dumbbells from 3lbs-20 lbs too I like the vibe but needs updates

Needs love

There are pros and cons here… first the pros! The staff was friendly and attentive, the vibe is fun and cool, and the restaurant (El Jefe) is surprisingly great (food, service, and atmosphere)! The cons… the whole property is tired and needs some serious refreshing. The solution to all problems seems to be “slap a coat of bright colored paint on it”. Paint is chipped, rooms are sparse of furniture, lots of rust and decay. The key card system is almost unusable! If you put your room key ANYWHERE near and electronic, it is erased! We had to get new keys twice a day for our whole stay. AC units are noisy, so you can’t keep you window open. We were there mid week, the pool bar was closed the whole time (yet outside beverages are not allowed) pool towels are small and old, not even the water containers were filled. They charge $500 for a cabana, which is frankly a joke! Location is great and with a little love, it could be a great hotel.
