Staff is very friendly and accomodating. The area has limited food options. Ave de Republique was ground zero for protests and Metro workers strike the week I stayed. Other than that, it was a nice hotel for solo and young couple travellers.

Hotel Taylor was a great intro to Paris for my husband and me. All the staff was so friendly, especially at check in and check out. Lots of food options nearby and very walkable to other points of Paris or easy to take the metro. Absolutely would recommend and would stay here again!

Amazing location and cleanliness !

Had an amazing stay at Hotel Taylor. Really comfortable bed, air conditioning, good shower and spacious for Paris and good value for what you get. Certainly recommend and will stay again.

The room and public areas were quite chic and comfortable and it was easy to get to from the Gare du Nord. However, the person at reception when we arrived at 9pm was not very welcoming or helpful. The water was barely hot enough for a bath or shower on the first evening and there was no hot water the following evening. I've never stayed in even a cheap hotel where there was no hot water, and this wasn't cheap!

It was very nice hotel very nicely maintained people at the desk were extremely helpful and is well located plenty of nice restaurants around and lot of activities nearby. People very friendly in the neighborhood. They had an old-time elevator that could really only get two people in, but it worked fine and really never had any trouble
