I will be calling my credit card company! The entire building as well as the parking lot reeked of marijuana! The carpet throughout the entire building was disgusting, not vacuumed full of debris! There were bags of garbage and linens outside mini room doors disgusting! It looks like homeless people sleeping in the lobby! My bathroom, the mirror was molded and peeling and warped. The grout was molding. The shower enclosure was cracked. The shower curtain was completely wrinkled. Clothes, disgusted! I never complain, but I was actually nervous even being around the building from some of the clientele that I saw, but it didn’t look like they belong in a hotel!

I like this property and ironically even am booking again for tonight and tomorrow night and plan to stay when in town. They have done much work to the hotel to improve the overall quality level of clientele they attract and the rooms are furnished nicely. I would like to see them implement some English as a second language continued education for the hotel staff. It would allow them to have more effective communication with the guests and help them be better prepared for success long after they move on from this specific location. Some of the staff outside of the front desk spoke little to no English and had a hard time understanding that I needed to be let into my room after locking my key in the room and there was nobody at the front desk to assist. ***note*** I almost gave the hotel a 5 star rating but, tonight when I checked in, my ride had hurriedly dropped myself and a lot of bags at the door before I was able to check in. She rudely looked at me and asked “are you getting a room here tonight?” I said, “I sure hoped to!” She rudely stated, “Good because I can’t leave all this stuff in my lobby.” As a result I can honestly only give this hotel a four stars, so I scrolled back up and downgraded my results to a four from what would have been a five star and we’ll see how tonight goes to determine if I should change my next rating to 5-star or not!!

The hall leading to our room was littered with trash and leaves. The room itself looks like it had been used recently. The chair that is in there had fresh red stains on it, and the bed had hairs on it. The flooring was missing chunks in spots. The door to the bathroom inside the room looked as if it had been busted in a few times.

It's consider nicely shabby which is weird.

They failed to inform the guest in advance that the pool would be closed for maintenance and I was told I would receive new towels at one point but I didn't. They were severely short staffed as usual.

I hate the hotel smelled like weed and outside was broken glass and garbage all over its not the hotel people's fault it's the people that stay there. Breakfast the kids were looking for bacon or some type of meat. They need to make the lights in the hallway a bit brighter.
