I truly enjoyed my stay at The Bay Inn Petoskey! My room was clean upon arrival and the temperature was comfortable. The only thing I would say is I was not expecting an air freshener to be sticking out of the air conditioning unit. you cannot beat the view across from the bay!!

Shower head in #2 drips all the time, beds are too hard, and as stated, very thin walls and ceiling, it’s like people are moving furniture till midnight. Yes they provide earplugs, but people you all need to know to have respect for others and NOT create more noise than you need to.

The room floor appeared to be clean. So it’s being swept, but not washed. I spilled some water in front of the fridge and wiped it up with a towel. The towel was virtually dark brown after that. My white socks were so dirty I just threw them out. Cheap price, comfortable beds. LOTS of road noise. Thought we were next to the freeway.

A couple of days in Petoskey

Room was clean, beds were comfortable. Grounds were well-kept. We enjoyed using the fire pit on a cool evening. Good location; thought it might be noisy being right on a busy road, but that was not the case. Only issue was a lot of peeling paint in the shower area; the fan cannot keep up with the moisture from the shower. Would stay here again .

It was across the street from Lake Michigan and the 24 mile biking/walking trail and had an outdoor area with a fire pit. It was pricey but suited our needs.

Absolutely the worst service and the most uncomfortable beds we’ve ever stayed in. We ended up leaving and driving five hours back home because it was so bad. Don’t let the pretty interior fool you, it’s crap! It’s noisy, thin walls, and our money was not refunded! Would not recommend this place ever!
