So the AC went out the first night and never worked but thankfully we could open the windows for a breeze. What can you do when it’s an old building? The staff were amazing from start to finish that’s what matters. Breakfast was great every morning and the endless bottles of water were great. Stay here if you like affordable rates and a nice location.

Terrible irresponsible Management

I had made the reservation and paid for the room for 2 nights for Elizabeth Idiculla who was travelling from India to attend a wedding in Philly.From the moment she checked in she reported to the Front Desk that her toilet was not working. Since there was no response from any of the staff, she repeatedly complained to the Front Desk. She stayed there for two days and she had to use the toilet in a neighboring hotel where her brother was saying.I can't imagine Marriott would stoop to such low standard of maintenance and lack of response to a paid room. I wish she had informed me this. I would have personally gone to the hotel and complained to the Management. This was totally unacceptable and I came to know of this only after she checked out.

The rooms were clean, cute, but very tiny. Very very tiny. As far as parking, you are pretty much forced to use valet at $70 per night. There are absolutely no snacks, drinks,….nothing available. Can’t even get a coke or whatever anywhere if the restaurant isn’t open and it was RARELY open. Store across the street closes early. I was walking in down town Philly at night trying to find a coke.. it was unbelievable. The floors in the hotel lobby could use an overhaul. Definitely not your typical Marriott. But the rooms were ok.
