Good Stay

We were in town for spring training. Overall no complaints. Room was spacious and we had the amenities we needed. I felt it was a little overpriced but I understand that everyone and their mother was in town for opening weekend. The pool area was good and plenty of ice machines and parking. Overall I was satisfied.

Property is called a resort. Shocked to find Motel 6 level of proerty upon arrival. Someone had clearly attempted to kick in the door to my room at some prior time. At first I thought the door to my room (which is opened to and faced the street) was open so I pushed on it to make sure. It was a shut as it could be. Once inside, was mortified to find that the screws to the security lock (bar) were all loose like one more kick and someone could get in. Ended up pushing a big chair in the room against the door to close it more fully on the bottom anyway. Carpet filthy. I don't get the impression that ownership cares much. Would never had stayed had I not prepaid and it was nonrefundable. Buyer beware.

Our first room was a handicap room, even though we were completely able-bodied and the shower overflowed. Then our next room had a Jacuzzi that the drain didn’t work in. It had a sink that the faucet didn’t turn and then the door to the bathroom was missing the pin lock for the door to close and overall the rooms were just not well kept or put together. I requested a late check out and was told that it would be granted by the Night Shift, however, when the morning came, the receptionist changed their mind and said that the Night Shift was wrong and that I would not get extended check out and forced my check out early. When I went to ask for a receipt to confirm my on-time checkout, I was denied because the printer was not working at this facility. Very unorganized staff very unkept property highly highly highly do not recommend this property. They say their resort but there’s nothing about them that they are a resort. They charge a resort fee and there is no resort amenities to enjoy so I would highly highly spend extra money and go stay elsewhere. FYI Donna is the night shift and Juan is the morning receptionist.

Nice.

Room kind of small, tight. Pool and jacuzzi awesome. Location perfect, yards from beautiful park, 3 miles from Scottsdale downtown. First time here and fell in love with Scottsdale. I guess thats time of year, because talking to locals, summer's 3-4 months are not for faint hearts, soooo hot.
