It is my fault. I did not know where Hyatt Place fell in the food chain of hotels. It is kind of like Hampton or Holiday Inn Express, except a bit lower. For the price I paid, I expected a lot more. The bedding was great. The towels were great. The carpet was fine. The shower was fine. The shower/toilet area was a bit cramped.

Front office lady was short with me, not rude, but not very friendly. I reserved a room with a king bed and got a room with 2 small beds beds. Hopefully the difference in price is refunded.

Clean room, comfortable amenities, GREAT staff! Good breakfast (for the fee). Overall it suited our needs. FYI travelers... Old Town is fiesta district, you may encounter club sounds from the nearby venues. The Hyatt does provide complementary ear plugs. But we didn't have any need for as we slept right through. An older hotel. Admire the attempt to update but it is still lacking. I was on the second floor and people above me sounded like they had a heard of horses running around their room all night and early morning. Was adequate for an overnight stay but there are better options nearby for slightly more.
