Gorgeous log cabin with all the amenities. Loved the game and theater rooms. Plenty of space. Everything is very well kept. Communication with the host was fantastic. Short drive into Pigeon Forge and an easy 15-20min drive into Gatlinburg. It is a little bit of a walk down a hill to the pool (10 minutes) but we knew that going in. Would definitely stay again.

2025 Senior Grad Trip

The property was beautiful and so well maintained. The views from the main floor balcony are beautiful. The location of the cabin made it so easy to travel into Pigeon Forge and the surrounding area. We enjoyed so many of the fun things the cabin had to offer. The hot tub was used a lot at night after fun days of hiking and exploring by my daughters and their friends. The game room was so much fun! We watched several movies in the theatre room as well. And it was so nice that it had so many movie seats! One of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed. Our only complaints were the size of the washing machine could be a little bigger in comparison to how many people the cabin holds. And we thought it would have been nice to have a few more larger kitchen serving utensils and a large skillet. But overall, we would love to stay in this beautiful place again!

Amazing cabin and view!!

It’s difficult to come up with anything new to add to the wonderful reviews from previous visitors!! We agree with all their positive comments! Sherwood Dream cabin was a perfect place for us to celebrate our 50th anniversary with our kids and grandkids.The beautiful view gave us a true feeling of living in the mountains but with the convenience of being close to the area attractions. Janice made it so easy with her helpful communications. We were thrilled with our week in the Smokies and brought home special memories and lots of photos!

A bit of Heaven

We enjoyed our stay here. Very quaint. Loved all the pine inside the house made it very cozy.The house had plenty of room for our family of 5. The kids loved the game room and the theater. They also liked the fact that their rooms were on the lower level of the home. We enjoyed the hot tub after our long hikes and waking up every morning to a different view of the mountains. The Smokies sure live up to their name. You should book this home if you plan on being in a great location to all the action or the laid-back national park. The road to the house isnt too steep until the very last stretch to the parking area of the house. Definitely took some getting used to. But the elevation gave the best view.

The Sherwood Dream is Spectacular!

The Sherwood Dream cabin was so beautiful, comfortable and fun! The views are gorgeous! The location is perfect for Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. Comforts of home fit our family well! When not out sightseeing, the games and hot tub at the cabin also helped to entertain our family!

Three families totaling 6 Adults 2 children two and under. King beds at each of three levels gave great privacy and comfort. Mountain view was spectacular and very convenient location away from the hustle and bustle. A great experience. We saw bears!

Close to pigeon forge but quiet with great views

We had a great time at this property. The kids and adults loved the game room (air hockey and arcade games) plus theatre room! Best we’ve seen. The hot tub and outdoor seating were nice for the cool mornings and evenings. We enjoyed dining in and using the grill which worked great. No complaints at all - worth every penny!

Great views and lots of fun!

We had a great time at this property. It provided that cabin retreat feel that we were looking for. Everything was kept up well and we had a great time. The rec area and movie theater were great for the kids. It did snow about 3 inches while we were there. The road to get up to the cabin is quite steep for about half a mile, and we were unable to get our two wheel drive vehicles up to the cabin from the resort entrance. Not ideal for bad weather conditions, though the streets were salted the next day and road conditions improved in time for check-out.

Christmas to Remember

Beautiful property in the perfect location! Cabin was equipped with everything you could need. Hot tub was a huge hit for adults and kids! And the theater room was the perfect spot to end every evening. We all had the best time, thank you!

We loved our short but sweet stay. The cabin came equipped with more things than a typical vrbo. It was also prettier in person. Beautiful location and views. Owners were very easy to communicate with and genuine good people! I would definitely recommend staying here. We hope to go back there soon!

Amazing retreat!

My parents, myself, my husband, and our two daughters booked this cabin for our family vacation. We originally thought we’d have my sister and her husband join us, but they were unable to come. There was more than enough room for us all plus two more if not more! The drive up to the cabin was steeper than anticipated, so make sure the weather and your car are capable of the trip. Ideal location, close to everything in town but secluded with incredible views. We would absolutely book again. The cabin was very well stocked with games, kitchen, essentials, and more! We loved the movie room, but it would’ve been nice to have had a DVD player. We loved the little popcorn station! Everything was clean and cozy.

The owners of the cabin were so organized that it was the easiest rental we have ever had. The cabin was perfect for our extended family. The views were amazing from the deck. Would definitely recommend this rental and would definitely stay there again if we were going to that area.

Daughters Wedding

I looked for months. This cabin was an easy yes. The location, views, and space! The movie room was our favorite spot next to the porch. All of our kids were present for our daughter’s wedding. Hectic but awesome ! Communication top notch. Would love to stay again. Minus a wedding! Great for families.

Beautiful home!

The property is up almost to the top of the properties around. The view is spectacular and the home is beautiful! The kids had their own space downstairs (in which was basically sound proof) and the adults on the main level. Spent every night out on the porch with the view. Communication with owners was very easy and quick! Would definitely stay here again if we go back!!

Excellent cabin

Everything was as described, easy process from start to finish. A couple of recommendations, we didn’t use the pool table as it is really not useable. Too big for the space, only had two cue sticks, one had tip broken. Needs a smaller table, or at the least a couple short cue sticks. The game machine was very finicky to use. The joy sticks are basically shot. minor things. Would still highly recommend this cabin. Awesome view.
