We absolutely loved our stay at Pine Point! Everything was clean and tidy, and felt very welcoming and homey. The kitchen had enough to get by, but would be great to have a few more cooking utensils. Seemed like the water pressure at the cabin was kind of low. We would definitely come back to stay here again!!

House is hust as advertised and better. Ideal for a couple and we brought our small dog. Very quiet and relaxing outside area. Bed is comfortable and kitchen has all necessary cooking utensils. Great placement of fire pit and grill. Loved our stay. Highly recommend.

This property exceeded our expectations! Thoughtfully put together, and cozy. Our dog enjoyed his cozy stay to, we appreciated such a great dog friendly listing! Our favorite room to enjoy was definitely the screened in porch! Perfect for your morning cup of coffee, or unwinding after a day of hiking. We definitely put the kitchen to good use and had all the basics you need to prepare a good home cooked meal. We also appreciated the board games in the living room. The location was beautiful and private, but within good distance of all the things we wanted to explore in the red river gorge area. Thank you for the lovely home!

What a beautiful cabin tucked away in a peaceful, secluded spot—yet still conveniently close to plenty of local attractions like ziplining, kayaking, and some great restaurants. The cabin itself is spotless and beautifully designed. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking equipment. The bed is incredibly comfortable—you can even watch the sunrise through the windows as you wake up. A nice bonus: the loft has its own bathroom, which is a rare find. There's also a cozy little firepit just steps from the cabin, perfect for relaxing in the evenings.

Wonderful little cabin!

The cabin was perfect for a last minute weekend getaway. Within walking distance to Red Point BBQ. The outdoor enclosed patio was very nice and we sat out there often. Large comfy king bed. Updated couches in the living room. We had everything we needed. I will say it was a bit dusty in some spots but overall pretty clean.. and I am picky about that whenever staying somewhere! Would definitely stay again.

Cute house and peaceful setting

We had a great time staying here. The house was clean on arrival and host was responsive to messages sent. The spiral staircase took a little bit to get comfortable on, but was fine after a couple trips up and down. There are tons of trails and nice local food options within a short drive.

More Than Inclement Weather- State of Emergency Declared by the KY Governor

Never got a chance to stay at this cabin. The weather was more than inclement with flooding, freezing temperatures, nonstop rain, mudslides, declared state of emergency from the governor and no response from stay over management when I had sent an email to request deferring my dates or to see what other options there were, no reply. I did not want to risk my family’s life. I was scheduled to run an ultra race at Red River Gorge but the race director canceled due to safety for the runners. I wish vrbo had a policy for safety.

Nice little cabin

Cabin was nice and cozy, beautiful location and nice and close to the parks. It could’ve been cleaner when we got there (toothpaste in the bathroom sink, bugs in the kitchen sink, lady bugs everywhere) but overall was a nice place and I loved that my dog was welcome. He had the best time!

Nice, Secluded Cabin - Terrible Communication

Overall the weekend stay was fine. Cabin was fairly clean and everything seemed to be in working order. There were tons of ladybugs and stink bugs which we thought was odd since it was so cold outside and winter. In the listing, it states that 2 wheel drive is sufficient. However, I would disagree. The road leading to the cabin had several hills and was mostly mud. They also did not communicate that they did not plow or salt the road after there was several inches of snow and ice 2 weeks before our stay and there was still ice when we went. Heading to the cabin the roads were slick but we were able to manage. On checking out, we had gotten a couple inches of snow the night before and ended up getting stuck on the road the cabin is on. The rental company gave us next to no help in finding a tow truck or offering any kind of assistance while we were stranded for 3 hours while I am 8 months pregnant. When trying to communicate my frustration I received no response. After reaching out 4 times via 3 different forms of communication I gave up. I would not recommend renting this cabin, nor using stay over management. It was especially frustrating because when the tow truck company came, they said anytime there is any amount of snow people are stuck on that road. If it's a known problem that people get stuck in 2 wheel drive when any snow and also that the listing said 2 wheel drive is sufficient that doesn't seem very transparent and in my opinion it was misleading.

Perfection

I absolutely did not want to leave!!! Everything was just perfect. It’s only an hour from my home… I will, without a doubt, book this gem again!! Can’t wait for summer/fall to go back and hike and see the waterfalls surrounding the area. 3 highlights would be… private, games and entertainment provided, and #1… the cookware was awesome. I plan to buy a set if I can find it.
