This place is not bad and I would recommend again. Overall the food was amazing, pools were cool and grounds were clean. If you’re not an animal person you may want to reconsider although they are all docile and pleasant. Deer, monkeys, birds ( I hate birds) and those possum like animals were all cool. Gym was cool for a resort but staff at time did not appear solution oriented. For example, I went looking for bottle water in the lobby and they completely gave me the run around. Outside of this it was fine. Again I would recommend. Ps bring small bill cash and don’t rely on the nationals to do it for you they always try to squeeze an extra 5-10 bucks converting pesos to dollars.

Overall resort is vey nice. Food is good, especially the restaurants ie Italian and Bluemoon. Buffet is good with lots of variety but breakfast buffet needs better efficiency. Pool bars are good but lobby bars and bartenders in evening need better consistency in drink making. Beach is a huge negative. Unusable with huge amount of seaweed. Entertainment needs significant improvement during day in pool areas ( staff does little to engage festive guests with activities and shows minimal creativity to encourage fun atmosphere. Way too rigid and structured with planned games ie volleyball and basketball - on time clock removing balls, nets etc despite overwhelming plea from guests to continue. Evening entertainment needs greater variety with more adult areas or designated kid family areas. Music needed in lobby areas to drown out screaming kids running around at times. More defined chill areas for adults with music for relaxing vibes would be welcome.

After staying at this property, Mexico owes us NOTHING! The staff were courteous, knowledgeable and very welcoming. Special mention to Pablo and Fernando who made our stay even better with their recommendations and service. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.

We got two rooms from this resort, one with queen bed and the other with two queen beds. Both rooms are neatly and clean. Staff clean our rooms and refill drinks in the refrigerator everyday. We only tried 4 restaurants (Japanese, Italian, American and Mexican) out of 11 and we can only make reservation once a day, all of them taste above average. The buffet restaurant has different theme and serves different food every night with plenty food choices. There is not too much daytime activities inside the resort, only pools, gym room, buffet lunch, and coffee shop available. Water activities available in daytime with extra cost at the beach area like jet ski, speed boat. There are plenty of nighttime activities, ice cream shop, theater, bowling, arcade room, family longue, sport bar and fine dining. To relax with enjoying tasty food and lying whole day in the pool, this is a perfect AIC resort. Otherwise, if you want more daytime activities like waterpark or dirt bike, you may pay extra to join some day tours. They have counter at lobby area with special pricing. Overall, this resort is pretty good in price and quality.

The staff we encountered were very nice and helpful. The resort itself felt very safe and welcoming. The meal we had at the Asian restaurant was delicious but portion sizes were smaller than expected. Other people from my group really enjoyed the Mexican restaurant as well. The buffet had the same food everyday which was mediocre. We didn’t get to try all the restaurants since most of them only open for dinner. The drinks weren’t the best. The cocktails at the steakhouse tasted better than any other restaurant or bars at the resort. The resort definitely looks better in pictures than it does in person. It doesn’t look too bad but the rooms are in need of renovations.

The hotel was beautiful, it was always clean. As far as the food there’s room for improvement. It was very simple no flavor. The only food that was worth eating was the French Restaurant food and their service was wonderful. Some of the servers in the buffet may benefit from learning customer service from them.

This was our 2nd visit to this property and it is showing its age after 8 years. Our room was not completely disgusting upon check in but it could have been cleaner. The daily room cleaning was better. Sadly it took tipping them to really clean the room. They are constantly trying to upsale you-hotel membership, spa treatments, off site entertainment, etc. The restaurant servers want you to rate them on the spot. Turns out its for their google reviews. We have no plans to visit this resort nor any affiliated with H10.

We traveled from Toronto, Canada to spend a week at Ocean Riviera Paradise, and it was nothing short of spectacular from start to finish. The moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and a refreshing welcome drink, instantly making us feel like we had stepped into true paradise. The food was absolutely amazing – every single meal exceeded our expectations. The à la carte restaurants served delicious international and local dishes, from fresh seafood and authentic Mexican cuisine to flavorful Italian pastas and perfectly grilled steaks. The buffet was loaded with variety and always fresh, and even the snacks and room service felt like fine dining. The pools were stunning – there were so many to choose from, each offering something unique. Some had lively music and activities, while others were peaceful retreats for relaxing in the sun. The crystal-clear water and beautifully maintained surroundings made it easy to spend entire days poolside. The beach was breathtaking – soft white sand, turquoise waters, and plenty of loungers and shaded areas. It was the perfect place for morning walks, sunbathing, or just listening to the sound of the waves. Our room was absolutely beautiful, and the highlight was our private rooftop view. Waking up to a panoramic scene of the resort and the ocean was something we’ll never forget.
