Would not recommend this hotel for various reasons. My first impression was while pulling in the police were in the parking lot. Front desk staff was friendly. The facility appears to be used as long term housing as there are notes on the doors as you walk down the halls. The rooms: entry door handle broken, not clean, no toilet paper roll in the room, no hair dryer, tub does not have a plug so a bath is not an option, TV remote was broken, one washcloth and one hand towel. The hotel is older, this is apparent with thin walls and smells that waft in from other rooms.

The hallway smelled like urine the night we got there, then it smelled like dirty laundry in the morning. In the morning I only saw little packets of oatmeal and hot water for “breakfast”.

One of the attraction for me was this included breakfast. At best, i qas expecting eggs and/a variety of cereals. At worst, i expected a variety of pastries. What was offered was Nutragrain bars, packaged mini-muffins, and packaged oatmeal. The 1st morning they had run out of milk 1 hour into Bkfst. This was all horrible. The room never was serviced with clean sheets or towels. There was no hair dryer. Finally, the walls were paper thin, so i was able to listen to a phone conversation in one room and a person walking in their room for a good hour. In all, I expected more, much, much more. Miserable and disgusting!

Avoid

This hotel just feels run down. The first thing you’re greeted with is a disgusting smell that seems like burnt greasy food and mildew. The counter staff were friendly, that’s the only good marks I can give this establishment. Every wall was either dirty or has patch and paint marks everywhere. The floors looked dirty or stained. Every piece of trim work on the doorways looked like a dog chewed on them. It just gave off a vibe of one of those pay by the hour places you see in movies. I highly do NOT recommend! Spend a little more and stay somewhere nicer.

Not family friendly

The room was exactly as expected, no complaints there. Check in was quick and easy. Room was clean and comfortable with a nice kitchenette. But, it didnt feel super safe as there were people sleeping in the lobby who were obviously not guests of the hotel. There was also a gentleman checking in at the same time as my daughter and I, that very loudly stated he didnt want anyone giving away where he was if people came looking for him. Not great for families. If our stay had been for more than one night, I would have checked out for a different hotel.

I wish I could give a better review here. There's a process problem with the laundry, I think. We found several long black hairs in the bedding and sheets, very noticeable. So we asked for new bedding. The new bedding also had long black hairs (I've got short grey hair. My wife has long red hair, so it's not us). We asked to switch rooms. New rooms had bedding with you guessed it: long black hairs. So we asked for new bedding again. It arrived with... long black hairs on it. My wife's disabled, so moving hotels was not feasible. So we complied images and video of it, then gingerly cleaned the sheets ourselves as best we could. I asked the front desk for options. Because we booked through Expedia, the front desk couldn't do anything. I then contacted Expedia, and they mentioned they could give a very small credit for a future stay, but told me the hotel manager can make better restitution. Each day I asked the front desk to have the manager call me with a plan about this, gave them my contact information. I've heard nothing then, and nothing now. It's not too late to contact me, make restitutions and let me know what the plan is to fix this going forward. That's pretty awful. Rest of hotel was tired, if serviceable, but I get that this isn't a 5-star. And I should note that they are in the process of reflooring some of the rooms. And none of this is on the front desk staff, they were a bright point in all of this, even if they couldn't do much.
