A great quick overnight stay for my large family. It’s hard to find hotels when you have four kids. The room was plenty big enough and staff were great. They helped accommodate my husband’s work needs while I entertained the kids. Great little town to visit.

1 night stay before flying out.

Perfect hotel to round out our father and sons NE trip. We prefer the area more than Portland. Freeport and the hotel are beautiful. Shops opened ~10am and close early in the summer during the week. (Except ll bean and a couple of others). The breakfast at the hotel was a great way to start the day.

It’s a beautiful building with very comfortable rooms and walkable to shops and restaurants. Really lovely back garden and super indoor swimming pool! Games available in the very large parlor with fireplace and comfortable furniture were wonderful! A very nice experience!

The hotel was lovely and food excellent. The detractor was no housekeeping service. We were there 3 days, myself, my son and my grandson,,,and no housekeeping. No clearing and replacement of cups, coffee packets, amenities etc. Every other day would have been acceptable but not at all is not acceptable especially at he price point and a hotel of this caliber…for this reason I would not return.

We had an enjoyable stay. I was disappointed in the condition of our room. The carpet was old and very stained. The furniture was old and beat up. I feel like the Inn has a wonderful atmosphere and history, however it is in a desperate need of a refresh/update. The breakfast was very nice and the rounds and fire pit area are beautiful.
