Charges for parking

I couldn’t believe we had to pay a $10.00 fee for parking our one car, when we were staying overnight at the hotel and we only had one vehicle. Parking should be included if you’re staying overnight at the hotel. We will never stay at your hotel again and we let let all our family and friends know. Very unexceptionable. The breakfast was not very good either.

Very noisy stay. The people in other rooms were making loud noises until 2 / 3 am. The room has a poor acoustics and you can hear everything from other rooms.

Subpar

The desk staff lacked any personality. The place was clean enough, but the sheets were the worst I have ever slept on in my life. They were scratchy and full of pills. I actually woke up several times during the night finding a difficult to sleep, that along with the whirling noise of the air conditioner, starting up and shutting down. The breakfast offerings were subpar. The area was suspect and they charged us $10 to park! I would definitely not recommend this place to stay to anyone.

The room was fine albeit the bathroom/vanity situation yielded little privacy. The bed and linens were clean and comfortable The breakfast was more than adequate and appreciated. There was a good deal of confusion at the front desk about the reservation as there were extra days added to an original reservation. I was reassured prior to the visit there would be confusion.

Pros; This place was a nice stay , clean , location great , rooms kept nice . Cons: BEDS are so so lumpy , obviously they are older or just very worn ( Terrible) and I asked them NOT to charge my card I wanted to pay cash , I said it 5time and they assured me it wouldn’t be charged but sure enough at checkout they charged my card . Was very annoyed by this .

Would never book this hotel again! Charged a fee to park in their hotel Parking lot, not even secure parking. Bad location, front desk service was awful! More worried about someone possibly smoking in their room then checking me in my room at 9:30pm at night. I had to sit in lobby 10 min while front desk clerk “took care of an emergency “ checking me in should have been the priority. Asked if I could get some milk and told no, had to wait till bfast at 6:30! Stayed at many LaQuinta hotels over the years and never had such a horrible experience

Portland Stay

The hotel was one of the more reasonably priced in Portland. It was close to the Sea Dogs Stadium which was a plus for us as we went to a game. The room was clean but the bathroom area was small and cramped. Bed was comfortable and clean. The only other thing was that the elevator was not smooth at all and gave me motion sickness sensations especially when going up.

This hotel was fine for the price. My only complaint was that we waited over 1/2 hour for the shuttle to the hotel from the airport, when they told us they would be there in 15 minutes. Otherwise it was a nice place with a decent included continental breakfast and an outdoor swimming pool.

There was no attempt at any service to our room. Trash was never emptied, no new towels offered. While the breakfast started at 6:30 it would have been nice to get coffee a little earlier. Surprised there was a daily fee to park.
