I was charged extra fees when registering which were not part of my reservation through hotels.com. When I made reservation I indicated we had a pet, but no additional fee was indicated at that time they also charged me extra for parking at the hotel which is crazy since there is no other parking available in the area. If they are using that money to maintain parking they aren’t doing a good job. Trash was everywhere and leaves have never been raked up from this fall, it’s quite a mess. To me if a hotel has extra fees these should be disclosed when I’m making the reservation not at the time of arriving at the hotel!!!

Not happy to have been informed at check in that they charge $10 to park. In their own almost empty parking lot. In Portland, Maine. Thats absurd!! The heater in the room rattled all night - almost drowning out the dog barking non-stop in the next room. ( I dont fault the dog ). To be fair the room was clean and breakfast was good.

I didn’t rate breakfast because I had to leave super early for a scheduled surgery at Mercy Hospital. Very convenient to get to the hospital from La Quinta. Will definitely stay here again because the rates are very reasonable. All of the staff were very professional.

Room was clean-ish, but just barely and missing supplies. They charge $10/night to park (ridiculous for an open air on property lot) and it took 3 calls to get the receipt sent. Given the $40 Expedia discount, the room was just about decent value. But, without the discount, overpriced and a poor choice.

The staff was pleasant. The room - The beds did not have a top sheet. The sheets were also not the same quality from one double bed to the other. One of the fitted sheets on the double was pilly. The pillows were also small. The bathroom sink was not fully clean and had toothpaste on the side of the sink. The shower curtain also needs to be changed the bottom contain soap mildew.
