Every now and then when roving one comes across the perfect spot for them. Friendly reception, expedited check-in, and the perfect room to rest and recover. It worked for me at the Hampton Motor Inn. All staff friendly and helpful... genuinely.
A soft bed, nice TV, fridge keeping things cool and a peaceful smoke on the balcony while watching lightning and the setting sun. The Beach is close with her myriad entertainment but I was slow to leave. Having left my damned phone behind was a blessing in disguise. I savored all without the guaranteed headaches and time wasting that cell phones bring us. Instead, I was able to read, study, and write those letters I'd been putting off. After sleeping peacefully for 9 solid hours, I awoke with a plan to return home that was perfectly executed thanks to Sam at the Front Desk.
I'll see you there since this place will be my go-to every time the Beach beckons over this seriously short New England summer. 🏴☠️💃🌹🖖🇺🇸....ps. a 5 minute walk south brings us to WHYM... where one can feast on the best seafood chowder ever had... even better than mine!... and a fine board of faire, bound to please.
