The ambient music is terrible 24 hours playing instrumental music in the beach!!! The bartenders in the pool bar were aweful! It looks that the staff dont wanna work! Hotel is beautiful! There is no AC i side the restaurants

We recently stayed at the Barceló Bávaro Palace and overall had a wonderful experience. The beach was absolutely stunning, the pools were beautiful and relaxing, and the range of amenities kept us entertained throughout our stay. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was vibrant yet peaceful. However, one area that could have been improved was the cleanliness, particularly in our room’s bathroom and in the buffet areas. While not terrible, we did notice that certain spots in the bathroom seemed overlooked by housekeeping, and the buffet stations could have been tidier and better maintained during busy times. That said, these were minor issues in what was otherwise a fantastic vacation—we truly enjoyed our time and would consider coming back.

I had a great time, everything was fine until the check out. I was very disappointed at checkout because the hotel tried to charge me $20 per towel. At check-in, I was never informed that I needed to keep a towel card, so I had no idea about this policy, they also never gave a copy or something of this policy. I left the towels in the room beacuse there were nobody that can gave me the card back at the pool. The housekeeping took the towel. At checkout, I was surprised and upset to be told I would be charged. The supervisor was very rude and didn't let me to explained what happen.This created a very negative experience at the end of my stay. I recommend the hotel explain and give a copy of this policy clearly at check-in and make sure guests are aware to avoid misunderstanding.

I liked the resort because it had amazing pools and easy access to the beach. You were able to walk to the restaurants, casino, pool and beach. The room we stayed in was the junior suite with a jacuzzi but the jacuzzi was dirty and the shade we had for privacy was not working, therefore we didn't use it.

The resort was beautiful. No doubt about it. I went with my boyfriend & 4 days was definitely not enough bc there are so many activities. The pool on the family side by the swim up bar was the highlight of our trip. So much fun when the performers come out. We went to the adult only side to check it out but the family pool was the best. (You are allowed to go to the adult only resort as they have a trolley that takes you back and forth) The night club was huge! Very cool and a must try. Unlimited drinks and food, yet I still ordered room service when need be and it was great, however breakfast was absolutely worth it for room service as they have different packages and for a great price. The jacuzzi in the room (junior suite) was the perfect touch. You also get a fridge filled with drinks and it feels like a blessing when you're thirsty because it's included (sodas and presidente beer!) The resort food is resort food so you can't complain. Each restaurant is a hit or miss so try different ones. i do wish there was more authentic Dominican food tho. I loved the resort & had an amazing time but 1) the family pool by the swim up bar has a small island next to it & when you pass it, smells absolutely lethal 2)The staff..I was tipping left & right so I'm unsure why the staff seemed so miserable.. I would order and would be ignored. I'm latina so it's not bc I didn't know the language. There were sweet ones but more rude staff than anything. They did ruin the experience a bit.

La peor experiencia de mi vida el hotel lleno de personas locales que no se saben comportar los llevas en guaguas por cantidades y los dejan estar en el hotel y son personas que no se saben comportar se emborrachan horrible super disagradable. Si van a llevar ese tipo the personas de tan bajo nivel cultural deberian de solo dejar ese fin de semana para ellos yo como turista el mismo dia que llegue me fui y me toco pagar 3000 dollares para irme para otro hotel y perfer todo lo que ya habia pagado expedia no deberia de vender mas este hotel al turismo
