I stayed mid-January. I chose this resort based on a friend’s recommendation and was initially skeptical because many DR reviews seem incentivized. Overall, it could’ve been a 5/5, but the way the trip ended changed that for me.
Arrival was a bit confusing — airport pickup (I purchased from hotel website) instructions weren’t clear, and the driver wasn’t very friendly. The driver going back was amazing! However, the front desk staff was excellent and recommended booking restaurant reservations immediately, which was great advice. Note: the “app” is really a website, and you need to be careful clicking things since charges can be added.
Food was mostly good. The steakhouse (churrasco) and hibachi were excellent (book hibachi early). Italian was just okay with very small portions. Oceanfront restaurant was good overall. Bartenders were thoughtful and even made me a virgin drink without asking (I’m pregnant).
Excursions offered by the resort gomajestic were mixed. The monkey tour (evoluation) was a terrible experience — our bag (wallet, ID, cash) was left in the shuttle, and the driver claimed nothing was there. We tracked it and believe items were taken. Very frustrating, especially since the resort partners with this company. 7 Adventure Park was much better and fun. Eat beforehand and bring snacks.
Till I stayed mid-January. I chose this resort based on a day 02/2026 no one has reached out from gomajestic concerning the lost bag. Atleast a refund or something would be nice
