Our overall experience at Hotel Riu Bambu was great. The service and restaurants were truly top-notch, and the staff was welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. That said, there were a few issues worth mentioning. Upon arrival, our room had a problem with the lock, which made us wait and lose about an hour of our stay. The cleanliness of the public bathrooms and swimming pools could be improved — the pools in particular seemed to have filtering issues. On the beach, there was a lot of seaweed accumulation, which wasn’t always well managed, and we also felt that more security is needed to control the presence of drug dealers in the beach area. The hotel itself was massive and fully occupied, which created a lively atmosphere. However, it was strange to see that the neighboring Riu hotel was almost empty in comparison. Special thanks to Casandra at the swimming pool bar, who provided us with excellent service and made our stay even more enjoyable.

Not enough good and experienced entertainment for adults or children. Food Hours needs to be extended longer for late lunches and breakfasts. Air conditioning was poor in the 2 rooms we had.

I cannot tell much about this property apart from the lobby area because I did requested a transfer to Rui Palace Bávaro because all my friends move there because this hotel was over booked at the time. But the front desk agents were extremely helpful and acted with urgency which was really a plus for me
