The Putney Inn is very comfortable and friendly. Love that there is a mini-fridge and a microwave in the room. Also the coffee maker is handyeven though there was excellent coffee in the office every morning. The room needs some updating. The carpet was frayed by the door. The bathtub was a bit stained. Also the design choices were sad. There are two prints in the room with exactly the same scene. It would be nice to have some lighter brighter colors for the bed, curtains, and carpet. Overall, the room was nice, clean, and comfortable. Would recommend to anyone staying in Putney

It was an older property, pretty basic, but clean and redecorated. Surprisingly, housekeeping came every day and changed towels daily. Breakfast was very minimal and ac was very noisy. Nice location for interstate access and town of Putney had a great, upscale diner and convenient coop grocery. Appropriate price for this satisfactory stay.

I would stay here again.

Facility was old but clean. The price was very reasonable for that area. Our host were helpful and friendly. The continental breakfast was sufficient. The surroundings are beautiful and there are large grassy areas where I could walk my dog. Having to be able to have my dog with me was important. I would recommend this facility to anybody who wants a pleasant stay at an affordable price.

Great stay!

The owner and his wife are very nice and helpful (we were unable to find the remote to the tv). It was peaceful property. We went down to the river a few times. A bonus for us was that are dog was allowed! A very large yard to walk your dog. We will be back!

Online ratings did not line up. The outside of the property is run down. The room smelled musty and had to put air conditioning to try to get rid of the musty smell. Very few options in the area so had to stay. Breakfast was sparse

This property is a mixed bag. The room is spacious and appears clean. However, there is a funky smell from the carpet. Bed is comfortable but the linens are old. What really put me off was the check-in. The counterperson was curt and rude. Cut me off midsentence when iwas giving him my name. Asked me if I had a pet. I said no. He said, "Because this room is NOT A PET FRIENDLY room." What the heck?
