The location is great and the room was fine. However, the shower faucet in the tiny shower cubicle was behind the glass door. Which the result, we could not let the cold water flow out before stepping into the shower. Be prepared for a cold shower followed by a hot shower. When I brought this to the attention to the person at the front desk, she didn’t have any solution except to say that all standard rooms have this shower. So beware of this!

Wonderful location - short ride from station, and on the very edge of le petit champlain (so quieter than that delightfully busy quarter) - easy walk to Museum of Civilisation (a must-visit) and the port - excellent restaurants and galleries nearby - v comfortable bed, nice room, excellent Wi-Fi - bathroom v small and washbasin in bedroom not ideal but it is an old (modernised) building so I was grateful for the en suite - v helpful, friendly staff

What a great, historical property! We stayed here for 4 nights and lived the location. Easy walking and exploration of the old city (lower part) with so many wonderful restaurants and historical sites nearby. The rooms were comfortable and modern despite the old building. Highly recommend.

Check-in was smooth and uneventful. We parked at a public park nearby as we didn't have much luggage. The location was beautiful, and the room was charming -the bed was so comfortable, and the shower and robes were lovely. The downside, the bathroom pocket door would not close, the breakfast buffet was almost empty when we got there at 8am and the coffee machine was broken. The small dining room where breakfast is available was very awkward and crowded the moment more than 2 couples were in the space. The staff in charge of refilling the breakfast items seemed bothered when asked if there were any more items to fill the empty serving trays. Overall, the location and room were lovely and convenient, but anticipate enjoying breakfast elsewhere.

This was a beautiful property. The rooms were modern yet old world. A perfect blend. Breakfast in the morning was included. You can enjoy it in the beautiful terrace on the property or a dining room with amazing decor. A very short walk to the waterfront. Lots of little shops right around the corner. No parking on site but there is a parking garage very close by. Very convenient . Would definitely stay again in the future.

First trip to Quebec

Amazing location in the heart of Old Quebec. You can walk to anything from there. Charming rooms. Staff friendly and very helpful (we speak very little French but it did not matter). I highly recommend this hotel.

Nice stay

The hotel is lovely and very well situated. It was a great spot to explore the city but was less crowded than the upper city. Only peculiar thing is that half the bathroom (sink and bathtub) was in the bedroom. Fortunately shower and toilet had a door to shut between it and them.

The breakfast area turns into a 5 star rating steak restautant at night. We were tired from traveling and decided to eat there even though it was pricey. Did not disappoint. Staff was very kind. They held our luggage after check out so we could do a bit of sightseeing before heading to our cruise ship. Would highly recommend

The hotel was very nice and hotel desk and wait staff very personable, friendly and tended to our needs. Our room was unique with walls of exposed brick that offered an old world charm yet modern with stainless steel sink, fixtures. The only think we weren't crazy about was the sink right in the bedroom space; adding more shelves also recommended. Overall, the hotel very convenient and walkable to the river and the rest of Vieux Quebec. A lovely time!
