We had a wonderful 2 night stay at Hotel Manoir Victoria. The room was spacious and well appointed. The staff was excellent from the parking attendants to the front desk to the housekeeping. A minor drawback was waiting for the one elevator in operation.

My family had a great stay! I would have given it 5 stars but one of the elevators was broken the entire time and it took a long time to get up to our room on the 5th floor or to the lobby when we needed to. Also, the hotel really should have an exit through or near the restaurant for guests to the Main Street where the shopping and restaurants are. I had lower back injury during our stay and had to exit down a flight of stairs and walk around the block every time I wanted to get out to the Main Street.

The experience would have been better had I he elevators been functioning. The one that was in working condition was often used by staff to move cleaning materials etc. When I made an inquiry at the desk I was told “we are aware of the problem” repeatedly with no explanation or even empathy shown. There was also no information on how long the situation would continue. I have stayed at Manoir Victoria many times but this is my first negative experience.

Nice hotel, but sleepless night

Gorgeous hotel, clean, friendly staff. Unfortunately there is no way to enter without trekking up a flight of stairs with your luggage. I was told the building is historic and cannot be retrofitted with an escalator or elevator. You apparently can arrange use of a hidden side elevator with staff if you are unable to climb stairs but this is by request only. Just an FYI for the elderly and those with disabilities. My biggest issue was that my room was on the first floor facing Rue Saint-Jean, a ridiculously loud pedestrian street with sidewalk restaurants, bars, shops, and street musicians. I stayed at this hotel before and knew it would be a problem but was told they were full and there was nothing they could do. The street was so loud that I couldn't hear the TV in the room and went on until city ordinance at 11pm. This would have been ok, but in the morning street cleaning and garbage pick-up started at 6am. I left completely exhausted and had a 7-hr drive the next day. Not a place where you can sleep.

Attentive and helpful staff; conscientious and thorough house-keeping staff, fine facilities, including some recent renovations. Our room had a street view, and the pub across the street did have loud-ish music that we were mostly able to mask with a white noise app. Our meals in the local restaurants ranged from good to excellent. It's high tourist season, and we probably wouldn't go again this time of year - but we are thinking about November

Very Luxurious Hotel. Amazing service ans very clean. Close to everything in Old Quebec. Parking is a little inconvenient and check-in times are rather late in the day (5pm)
