The people working were super friendly. Check in and check out were fast. The hotel itself was so run down. We got there at 2:00 for our two room stay. One room was ready, so we were told we could all stay in that room while the one Nextdoor was being cleaned. He was going to call us when it was done. After 3:00 I asked one of the house keepers about the room b/c it hadn’t been started and she didn’t know it was to be cleaned. We didn’t get in it until over an hour after check in. (Never got a call- I had to keep checking) The hotel constantly smelled like pot- in the hall, lobby, elevator. At one point the smell was so bad in the elevator I thought I was gonna get a contact high. The hairdryer in my room was broken and was stuck on low. No body wash in the room. Three wash cloths for 4 people. We asked for bedding for the pull out and was given one flat sheet and one blanket. One of the rooms smelled like cigarette smoke. The drawers in the dresser wouldn’t stay shut. I can’t tell you how many times a shin suffered from that one. The breakfast wasn’t good either. Eggs and tater tots got left on my plate and I hate wasting food. The remote didn’t work on one of the tvs. The area itself isn’t great either. Pay a little more and stay at one of the nicer hotels about 10-15 min up the road.
