The hotel was nice. Friendly service. But, did not like that the airport shuttle was only available 5am-8am. Luckily we could use the 8am slot, the last service. I chose this hotel for being near the airport not knowing the limited shuttle service. Also, you have to take a taxi to the hotel from the airport and despite it being less than 10 minutes away, the taxi cost @ $35 USD. Which is super disappointing. Again, the whole reason I chose this hotel was due to it be close to the airport and for the shuttle service.

First time staying near the airport. I usually drive in to Rekyavik for access to dining and other options. However, I found this to be just as pleasant. Just Wingin it is only a few minutes away, and it was awesome as well.

Did a 2 night layover at this hotel, worked out great. Honestly my only complaint is the one treadmill in the small gym was bowing downwards which made it difficult to not make it sound like an elephant was stomping around. Considering folks have been cooped up on an airplane for god knows how long, like me, and just wanna walk or burn off some steam after the flight when it’s dark, cold and raining outside. Otherwise, would consider staying again.

Location great for early morning flights as next to airport and gas station. Reasonable facility but our room did not have a hair dryer, which was inconvenient to discover at midnight after a shower and house keeping was gone for the night too!At the premium rates they charge that inventory should’ve been done and a mere sorry for the inconvenience and house keeping will be informed isn’t enough.
