Won’t be staying here again

My husband and I stayed one night for an appointment we needed to go to. I won’t stay there again. The light was so dim in the bathroom, I could hardly see. The room and hotel definitely needs an update. The bathtub drain was broken, the bathroom sink was clogged, the makeup mirror light didn’t work and the room was dusty. The only good thing was it was quiet and there is a really good restaurant directly across the street where we could walk to. ( The Tobacco Co) I don’t see how housekeeping can clean these room on a daily basis and not report these problems. I paid good money. The mattress was halfway comfortable and at least the pillows were soft. I’ll stay somewhere else next time I visit. I did report all these problems to the front desk guy and he didn’t even offer any compensation. One more thing.. there was an ice machine room in our floor , but it wasn’t available. We had to go to another floor for ice..

Fun night out

Really excellent location. Within walking distance of several great restaurants and bars. Great, friendly service. Room looks really classy and nice. Bed is noisy and every time my husband moved it woke me up. But the bed was comfortable. The view at sunset was gorgeous!

Traveling home from FL to PA wanted an Easy On/Off 95. Pictures on hotel site and on Expedia look much better than actual property. The room I got was not what was pictured in Expedia. Front desk told me Expedia chooses my room and instead I should call the property if I want to get what I think I reserve. I was not happy.

A Good Choice

A nice traditional hotel that has been a favorite of ours for years. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Some may feel that it is somewhat dated but we feel it's just a more traditional style. The new restaurant was really a good choice for us.

OVER-RATED

Considering our room which was the standard king, this hotel is vastly overrated. They advertise the room as 500 square feet. No way. There was only 2 feet from the end of the bed to the dresser with the TV. The room felt very cramped. The bed was horrible. It felt like sleeping in a hammock. The entire room was very dated. Only standard cable and no access to streaming services. It had stained and peeling wall paper and there was an area behind the door in the bathroom that was filthy. They charge a non-refundable pet fee of $50/night. When I complained about the room at the front desk, they said there was no other room to move us to and when I asked to waive the pet fee, they agreed to waive half. I would not stay here again. Might also add that they have a bell man at the front door, which is hard to open, and no one offered to hold the door when we came or left with our luggage.

Room was much larger than expected. Nice sitting area with a couch, coffee table and chair. Bathroom was large and clean. Many dining options nearby. Staff very nice. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.
