We stayed at the Fairmont for 4 nights. The location between Copacabana and Ipenema beach is fantastic. Our room had a view onto the sugarloaf and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching people on the beach and in the water. We only had one dinner in the hotel restaurant. It was amazing. The breakfast buffet had a good selection. Rooms were spacious and clean and the beds comfortable. The shower pressure was excellent. But most importantly, the staff were always helpful and nice. I highly recommend this hotel.

My stay at the Fairmont Rio de Janeiro Copacabana was absolutely amazing! The location is unbeatable—right in front of the beach with stunning ocean views. The service was outstanding; the staff was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel itself is beautiful, modern, and very clean. OK stay in noisy hotel

The doors to balcony are not good enough considering the rooms are above the pool/restaurant - they need to improve/update them- the hotel was very busy as it was the end of Carnival but the noise went very late into the night. The room was comfy nothing special and def not as good as other Fairmonts.

We have stayed here multiple times and LOVE this hotel. Perfect location between Copacabana and Ipanema beach. The staff cannot do enough. The whole experience was amazing. Spa is 10/10.

An old hotel with a nice gym and good views. Not sure about the smell in rooms slight odor which could be mold from bad ventilation. Staff was pleasant but overall I would not stay here again. Not a good value and the smell was constant in the room.
