Staff was excellent, rooftop bar and pool were nice, but the tiles at the pool was very slippery and many guest had problem with it. We checked-in an average room where the AC was not that great and the shower and the bathtub was clogged, but the hotel fixed it and gave us an upgrade, so we stayed in a suite for the last 2 nights, which was very nice.

Rooftop is amazing. The staff are so friendly. Miguel on the rooftop was very welcoming. Great location clean. Only area of improvement was the aircon was very loud so had to shut it off at night.

The air conditioning in the room was on full blast and when turned off this causes damp in the rooms. The hotel should consider keeping all rooms at a temperature of about 21C to prevent problems with damp from the air conditioning units given the rooms are west facing and do not get much sunlight..this may be different for sea view rooms which would likely get more direct sunlight right through the day.

We had a terrible experience at this hotel. The AC in our room was not working as blasting as low as 16 degrees C. We spoke with the front staff in order to address it but had to do so multiple times during our stay and the issue was not resolved until the last day of our trip. My friend actually go sick during the trip. Overall, it is conveniently located but for the cost, it is an old hotel and I expected better cleanliness and service- would recommend staying aT another place in the area.

We got there early morning, champagne welcome. Sascha at the desk said he would get us to our room early and he did. The breakfast is fantastic, fruits, cold cuts, eggs, yogurt, bacon, multiple breads including GF, fresh juices etc R$99 (about $17).A few of the staff speak english and go the extra yard to help you with any needs you might have whether it's making a reservation for an event at The Roxy or simply suggestions on how to get around. Thank you to Iris and Joseph from the wait sraff. The pool on the 20th floor is a little small (not built for laps) but great for a dips when laying out in the sun. The bartender is also wonderful and attentive. Drinks, wine room service and in room snacks are very affordable and wont break the bank.

Second time staying in there everything was amazing, only thing I didn't like they had a event at pool during my stay, was planning use the pool after my tired day but by 5-6pm was a Brazilian sweet sixteen party, but everything else was perfect
