Spacious room with table and chairs. Breakfast was a great to start the day. Fresh fruit, yogurt and a delicious bagel. Also loved the in-room Nespresso machine. The hot tub was fantastic on a chilly evening, then I got right into my thick hooded bathrobe that came in the room.

Loved the space. We stayed in the suite upstairs and it was so spacious. Had a cute sitting area and it was nice and clean. One downside is the access other guests have to the balcony. Anyone can just come up the stairs and look in your windows if the curtains are not closed just right. Customer service was good and we really enjoyed the cute breakfast baskets in the morning.

We were unhappy with two aspects. The shower is extremely small -- about 2 feet by 3 feet. Very tight. I personally would rip out the closet next to it in a heartbeat and enlarge the shower. The TV was also difficult to figure out and the staff on duty at the desk was unable to assist. Breakfast was fine, just monotonous -- it was always bagels, which isn't great with no toaster to toast them in.

I booked the Deluxe Penthouse Suite for my sister and I as a quick Get Well Getaway while I recover from shoulder surgery. The room was beautiful and clean. The staff were helpful, kind and accommodating. The balcony had a beautiful view of the water. We got to relax and unwind in a private, quiet setting and marathon The Pitt. We added on In Suite Massages and they were amazing! My sister and I were looking forward to using the sauna which was not working at the time of our stay, so we were slightly disappointed but we will definitely come back again and look forward to trying it on the next visit. The hotel is in a good location as far as distance to restaurants. I would strongly recommend Aqua for your next trip to the Riverhead area. We were beyond pleased!
