Conveniently located just off the interstate. The hotel is well-maintained, and the staff is very friendly. The Mexican restaurant just in front of the hotel (not part of the hotel) was convenient and both the food and the service were great.

Staff was friendly and the room was very spacious. The halls and stairways were not very clean though. Unfortunately, the power in the hotel went out 15 minutes after we checked in. After an hour without power we decided to checkout. The front desk staff assured us that we would be reimbursed.

The location by the interstate is great. The suite was really large and very clean. All staff were very friendly with just one complaint. Our room booked for three people did not have blanket for sofa bed. I was told by the front desk that they would look for one and bring it to me. At 11:15 p.m. that staff member had gone home without contacting me, but Derek promptly fixed us up. I could tell that he went out of his way to find us a blanket. Thanks!

The hotel itself was generally fine—clean and comfortable enough for a short stay. However, our experience took a frustrating turn at check-out. We noticed an unexpected charge on our credit card with no explanation. After calling the hotel, we were informed it was a pet fee, despite the fact that we did not have a pet with us. What made matters worse was the lack of accountability. We were told to call back the next day to speak with a manager, only to be told then that no manager would be available for another two days. Being charged a fee without any verification or prior notice is unacceptable, and the poor communication afterward only added to our disappointment. We expect transparency and proper verification from any hotel, especially when it comes to billing. There was no pet. No fee should have been charged. We’re still waiting for a resolution.

I really liked that the room was a small suite. There was a lot of activity in the hallway outside my room (a family reunion or something like that) with lots of visiting going on that was noisy. I was able to go to the bedroom, close the door, and effectively block out all the sound from the hallway! The room was very comfortable, the staff I met were all gracious and polite, and it was a very positive experience.

Beware of added inventory loss fees

Room and hotel itself fine but they charged us an additional fee after we left to our credit card with no explanation or receipt. I happened to see the charge on my account and called. They accused me of “stealing” a pillow. I haven’t ever stolen anything in my life and wouldn’t take a filthy hotel pillow home with me. Left several messages for GM and never a call back. Looking on Facebook it is apparently a thing Country Inn and Suites does to many people. Beware of inventory fees and over the too charges for “smoke” fees when you didn’t smoke in the room. Will never stay in a Choice hotel ever again. Very disappointed in the managers lack of caring to resolve my issue.
