Not in the best area for starters. Front desk staff at checkin was very rude and had comments to stay about members checking in. Refused to offer any assistance with questions about extra charges. Expedia nor this Hotel mentioned there was going to be an extra $191 hold on your card before checking in and also no where did it mention you would have a $50 charge also added. For two nights/king beds our Expedia total was $398. Upon arrival the $191 was being held on our card plus the $50 plus the $398 for a grand total at checkin/day of $639. That’s a $241 difference then what we were expecting to pay/be charged. That’s outrageous for a mediocre hotel at best. Minimal breakfast options, AC unit was nothing short of overbearingly loud, bugs were located in our room, rock hard bed. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Most of all how unfriendly the staff were from start to finish. Check in process/check out process was awful! I will be following up with management. Take my advice for the amount you’d pay at this awful hotel, just use that money on a much better hotel that’s worth it!

I was out of town for a multi-day state work training. I was refused my room upon an evening arrival to the hotel because I lived 49 miles away. The room had been reserved atleast 3 weeks in advance and reconfirmed BY THE HOTEL the day prior to arriving. It was booked on an employee issued card with the name of my company. Nothing “nefarious” was going on. The only suggestion the host had was for me to go to another hotel that didn’t have the policy. I just drove the hour plus back home in terrible weather instead, so I can turn around and make the same trip back in the morning. The hotel needs to examine this policy. This property is in a very medical area. There are many who have to travel to this area for medical care such as seeing a specialists and having surgeries from surrounding areas. This is a bad policy for anyone seeking care.
