This was the worst Hampton Inn! Our first room had a smell and dirty (the first thing my wife does is grab a Lysol wipe and we couldn’t believe the dirt on first swipe)! Called downstairs and he said he will move us , he went to a different room and stated “I was going to put you in room # but that has a funky smell, so I moved you to floor 5” While in the elevator I mentioned how disappointed I was and he turned around and said “ well that’s your opinion “ Got to our room on the fifth floor and it was terrible but my wife wiped it down and we dealt with it! When closing the curtain we noticed it was broke and hung using zip ties so I mentioned it to same guy (so we wouldn’t get blamed) the guy stated “we are aware” We took lots of pictures and my wife has been in management for most of her career, she showed the manager on duty the next morning and she had nothing to say! If anyone wants to see the filth and mold we still have pictures because we will send them to corporate

Clean and Comfortable

Check in was quick, and without issue. The property appeared to be well maintained. The room was clean. There were no insects, nor strange odors. The bed was firm, supportive, and comfortable. The A/C worked sufficiently well for a hot and humid summer and was free of any mildew. Shower had good pressure and hot water duration. Wifi worked without issue and bandwidth was sufficient. I have no complaints. I did not take advantage of any property facilities, food service, or bar.
