We are handicapped, but were unable to get a handicapped room. My husband is a Vietnam vet and almost fell trying to get out of the tub. I've had a stroke and didn't feel real safe taking a shower in the slippery tub.

What a wonderful place to stay. The room was clean and well maintained, and the kitchenette was fully stocked with all the necessary items. Check-in was quick and efficient, and the front desk staff were very friendly. Each time we left and returned, we were warmly acknowledged and asked if we needed anything or how our stay was going. We attended a fb game and we’re driving to check in at 9:15 when the hotel staff called to make sure we were still staying because their front desk closed. I appreciated that because she could have just left us hanging without a place to stay and 3 hours from home.
