I booked through Expedia and the check-in process was smooth and easy. The gentleman at the front desk was polite and quick, which gave me a good first impression. The room was clean and smelled fresh when I first entered.
Unfortunately, things went downhill from there. Throughout the night, the door kept shifting, and it felt like someone was pulling on the handle. I couldn’t tell if it was the wind or something else, but it was unsettling and made it hard to feel comfortable.
At checkout, the experience was disappointing. No one was at the front desk and the door was locked, so I waited. Eventually, a woman came out from the back door with an irritated expression. When I politely asked if she worked in the office, she snapped back “yes, what do you need?” I told her I needed to check out, and although she forced a smile, her attitude was rude and unprofessional. She mentioned something about flooding in the back room, but by then the interaction had already left a very negative impression.
