Deweyn Cabin on kahden makuuhuoneen yksi kylpy, hyvin yksinäinen mökki upealla näkymät Point Peter Mountain ja sijaitsee vain kahden mailin päässä Buffalo River.

Huomaa: vuokralaisten tulee tuoda omat vuodevaatteet ja pyyhkeet. Näin pidämme hinnat alhaisina ja edullisiksi asiakkaillemme. Myös ohjaamo on yksinäinen kauniit vuoristomaisemat, on kuitenkin 5 mailia hiekkatie päästä ohjaamoon. Suosittelemme atruckin tai maastoauton tuomista.

Manes Bluff Mökit ovat täydellinen ratsastajille, retkeilijöille tai joku etsii luonnonkaunis oleskelua päässä kaupungista. Buffalo Nation -joen varrella sijaitsevat mökit ovat 4. 6 mailin päässä lumipallasta ja noin 300 metrin päässä Dave Manes Bluff -kadulta Buffalo-joen polulla Ozark-vuorilla. Suosikki ja kaunis lähellä oleva joen paikka on Margaret White. Olitpa rakkauden metsästykseen, kalastukseen, tai tarkkailla luontoa tämä paikka on kaikki, 33 eekkeriä ympäröi puisto maa.

Tämä paikka on upea myös kaikille historiasta kiinnostuneille, koska myöhäinen omistaja Dewey Dill vietti aikaa kuunvalmistukseen koulubussiin taitavasti piilossa (haudattuna) ohjaamon taakse.

Point Peter Mountain on näkyvissä pois esiportaan Dewey hytti ja ajotieltä matkustamon leimaa kaunis vanha navetta rakennettu vuonna 1938.

This is a rustic cabin way out on the mountain top where there is total peace and quiet. Everything was comfortable, including the bed. Beautiful location! I could photograph the Milky Way by just walking out the front door! I did try to adjust the AC once, but couldn't get it to adjust (maybe that was just me). Dewey's Cabin had everything I needed. The road to the cabin can be rough, especially in wet weather, but my AWD with high clearance made it just fine. Lots of places on the Buffalo to visit around this area, so this is a great location for outdoor adventures and hiking. The Host, Megan, was nice and really easy to work with. I had a great stay!

Fabulous

This is our 3rd year staying at this cabin and it gets better each year. We love the rustic feel and how much beautiful space you have. You are truly out in nature and to yourself. We also love the drive to the cabin. We roll down the windows and the kids stick their heads out. It feels like a drive/hike through a jungle. Absolutely gorgeous. We always go to Margarette white and swim and picnic. Amazing that we have our own, always the only people there, bluff and portion of the buffalo river. The owner is always responsive and was very kind to personally refund me a night when we had to cut our trip a night short about a month before our trip. We love this gem of a find. Glamping /cabin stay at its absolute best! We will be back!

Quiet Bliss

Dewey‘s cabin is a wonderful secluded getaway from all the hustle and bustle. The roads in and out of the cabin are very narrow and rocky and for sure would want something that sits up higher or is four-wheel-drive. I wish we would’ve been able to see a little more wildlife while we were there but first night armadillo Join us by the campfire and just walked all around us while we were out there which we found so funny and cute. My only complaint if I had one would be the bed was not the most comfortable, but it was doable. Would definitely stay again.

Isolated and dangerous

To start, the woman in charge was very helpful and answered promptly. The property however was very isolated, you must drive through an actual ghost town. There is no GPS 3/4 of the way up a very steep and dangerous drive through the raw woods with a sharp edged bottom filled with large rocks. If it rains you can be potentially stuck for hours until the water goes down. A small vehicle will not make this ascent. Pulled up to the property and there was a very ominous feeling upon stepping foot outside our vehicle. We did not stay the night, we tried to get through the feeling but left within 30 minutes of arriving. No cell service to speak of so could not contact anyone until you descend again. The pictures do not reflect the property. I am sorry I have nothing positive other than the communication leading up to the trip. I strongly recommend a 4x4 vehicle with good clearance and an appetite for seclusion.

Secluded and peaceful

Thus quite, peaceful, secluded cabin is just what we needed to recharge our batteries. We spent the day enjoying the beautiful weather and view. We even saw an elk come to the back of the cabin to graze. We will definitely be back to stay again, we will just stay longer next time.

Remote and Beautiful

We love this property! It was our second time to stay and we’ll be back. The drive up is gorgeous through canopies of trees. The cabin is rustic and makes you feel like you’ve stepped back in time. The back field is so green. Each morning we moved the front chairs to the driveway and drank our coffee looking out at the fields and mountain. The beds were comfortable and nice hot water! I saw some mama turkeys and 10 baby turkeys one morning. We love this place!

Isolated get-away

If you want to "get away from ALL" this is for you but road is not for the faint at heart or low cars....owner does send directions to AVOID GPS and follow the owner's directions! The swimming hole "made" this trip for us with children but not an easy access. If you need cell signal or wifi again NOT the place for you....this is for a GET-AWAY! We loved it!

Relaxing stay

We loved our weekend getaway! Remote location, we enjoyed exploring some nearby trails, looking for wildlife tracks, and wading at the swimming hole. The driving directions were very helpful and while SUV would likely be beneficial on some of the roads, our Subaru Outback did just fine. Accommodations were as described and beds were comfortable. I really enjoyed drinking my coffee while watching the sunrise and my toddler play in the living room.
