This place looked clean but the bedding on 1 of our beds had stains which they charged for us. The shower curtain was draped then when husband went to shower it was not even hooked up and bottom stained. Towels stained and breakfast not worth eating. Very disappointed. Pool closed but showed open on web site.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. They are remodeling the hotel and the new rooms are very nice. We had a room with double queen beds. They were pretty firm and I like a softer bed (my preference so not on the hotel). The shower curtain could use a change but other than that it was an enjoyable stay for a business layover

Nice spot

You can tell this family owned hotel has come a long way. The room was great. The hotel was fine the area it’s located in which is a little rough, but you’re well lit. My only concern was the amount of ice outside the front door . I said something about it when I checked in and at least salt should’ve been put down the next morning when we went out our older dog practically did the splits on the ice. It’s a real concern to me.

Ok for a 1 night stay, unaware pool/hot tub closed

Lobby was very clean. Took a bit for someone to come the front desk to check us in. Room was clean had some updates, bathroom had no updates and no toilet paper. We booked this room in hopes of swimming that evening and enjoying the hot tub. When we went to go see the swimming accommodations we were informed that the pool was closed permanently yet the sign on the door said temporarily. Manager also stated that the pool and hot tub were closed on the website, I double checked and did not see anything about the pool or hot tub being closed.

Checked in on a cold, Saturday afternoon, front desk help took 10 minutes to come to the office to check us in. I rang the service bell once, a gal who I assume was the front desk help's wife came down the stairs carrying some towels, she also rang it. Fair enough. Checked into room, all good. Room has a bathtub, but no plug to hold in water. Again, fair enough. Night came, there is a Popeye's across the street. Went to Popeye's, brought dinner back to room, ate dinner and walked all throughout the halls of the property looking for a trashcan to dump my trash from dinner, couldn't find a trashcan. So, I walked my trash to the end of upstairs hall to a door, which I assumed was the housekeepers room where the cleaning carts are stored, and left it in front of that door. About 10 minutes later, the gentleman who checked me in earlier that day knocks on my door, holding that bag of trash. Tells me I should have dumped it in the trash, I said I looked for a trash can, he says if there was a question about where it's located, I could have called the front desk. Anyway, i'm not sure if this guy is the owner or just an employee of the place, but when he comes to your door at 9pm holding a back of trash, complaining about it, one tends to fire back. I did. Long story short, he asked us to leave in 5 minutes or he was calling the cops. Told us he'd give us a full refund. A month later, still no refund. Corporate told me i'd hear back in a week, it's been 3. Seems like it's his scam.
