My stay at Hotel Aqua Mar was good. It was cleaner and in better condition than I anticipated. It is definitely not a luxury hotel, but it provided all the amenities you would need such as a mini-fridge, coffee maker. It is close to the harbor which is nice. The bed wasn't very comfortable, but I have slept on worse. The room is on a main street, so the morning is a bit noisy. The hotel is good for the value. I will stay here again.

It's a great location for getting to Shelter Island or Point Loma/beaches. The street it's on is a traffic nightmare. There's a coffee shop right next door, which is nice. The room is what you'd expect for the price. It seemed clean except there was a weird burnt piece of plastic on the bathroom floor. I couldnt wait to leave in the morning, but it's fine if you just need a bed for the night.

I see a lot of negative feedback about this hotel but honestly, I would stay here again and again. Great amenities close to the airport very clean rooms definite stay next time.

Nice motel. Decent experience. First night very noisy outside cars people. Bed was extremely hard. Room was clean. Had a odor. Few stores within walking distance. Front desk guy was extremely professional and good vibes.

Worst night of sleep!

Checked in and the key card at first wouldn’t work. When I came back from dinner and got ready to relax, I Hansard the people upstairs from my room walking back and forth almost continuously! They continued to do that for several hours. I had to put earphones in to cut down the noise. Lousy night!
