Was in town for a game. Hoyel 5 min walk to stadium. Valet quick and polite. Front desk friendly and efficient. Room perfect for ehat we needed. My go to place when I go to Petco Park from now on.

For a single traveler, i felt safe. Everyone at the hotel was friendly and helpful. The bed was super cozy. There was a topper on a firm bed. The linens were yum. I slept like a dream. Some people commented that the sink by the bed was weird but i love that it was not in the shower toilet room so 2 people could get ready at the same time. Their were plenty of linens. A fridge, microwave, stove top AND a dishwasher! A small table w to comfy chairs and a small table and living room chair to watch tv. I would stay here again!!

This property is not up to the standards of a modern urban hotel charging what they do. A super big problem with my visit was incessant throbbing music, from late on a Saturday night continuously through Sunday morning when I gave up and left.

I would not stay again. Motion sensor lights in the room come on when one person moves. This blinds the other person sleeping. 4th floor but we had no nice view. The gym is just a small hallway with a few pieces of cardio equipment and a small rack of weights. The best thing was the Greek restaurant across the street.

I had a few packages ordered from the front desk. I received 2 nd the third one went missing. I called the hotel twice, and BOTH times i was told that they would look and call me back... never heard back from them. Left a sour taste as everything had been good till this.

The property is about two blocks from the Convention Center and about the same distance from the Padres at Petco Park. The Gaslamp is very walkable with very little traffic. At night the restaurants are hopping with some great rooftop bars (Rustic Root) and live music. The room with kitchenette was spacious and comfortable and the complimentary breakfast was one of the best I have encountered. Finally, the front desk staff were very pleasant and welcoming along with housekeeping.
