Fantastic location. Very clean. Very quiet and comfortable! Easy check in/out. Safe and free parking. We had the deluxe room. It’s small but cozy and well appointed. Very happy and highly recommended. Thanks Star Motel for a wonderful experience!

The room was in good condition. I was surprised that there wasn't a closet but that wasn't awful. The bed was very comfortable. I slept better the week I was there than any week in the past 3 years. The restroom was really nice. I just wish there was an option to keep the light turned off instead of it automatically turning on when someone entered the restroom. When sharing a room with my wife it woke us up when we had to use the restroom at night. The only other complaint I have is that while we stayed for 6 nights we only asked for cleaning services 2x and both times it wasn't done. Front desk was nice. In-room TV and fridge were really nice. If I could give a partial star I'd give it a 3.5*

Staff was great. Room was well decorated and very clean! Great new bathrooms! Stayed here because hotels in union Square and other areas were outrageous. The hotel was so nice and the price was so reasonable it was definitely worth the $15 Uber ride each way to the convention center area. Would stay again!

The room was nice and location was excellent. It was a little loud with the parking lot right outside but completely manageable. Our biggest complaints were not enough pillows for the large bed (we would've asked for more if staying longer) and the wood laminate floors were cold - it would have been nice to have a rug or something, particularly when getting up in the middle of the night.

We had a great stay! Parking was simple, the room was clean and as described. Everything worked well and there were simple amenities in the room and front desk area. The room had a thermostat that we could control, and the A/C unit wasn't too loud. It was fantastic for the price. The hotel is located walking distance to some of the tourist highlights of San Fran. (It was about a 20 min. walk to Ghirardelli Square.) We were able to leave our car at the hotel and walk or use public transit--after all the travel it felt nice to stretch our legs! Thank you for an excellent visit!

Nice and clean rooms. Although the shower was clogged, the hotel's personnel was very efficient on fixing it. Room service was also fast and efficient on our needs. The rooms smelled really nice and were very very clean. The location is also a good point, near by the touristic part of lombard st, the Marina, and full if public transportation around.
