We reserved 2 rooms. One for me and my husband, and one for my mom. While I was checking in, my room, my mom fell in the parking lot. The front desk attendant said “ oh my gosh”. I went out to help her. She was laying on the ground for quite some time, unable to get up. Once we were finally able to get her, she hobbled back to the car. I went back inside the attendant didn’t ask if she was okay or offer any assistance. I asked where the nearest hospital was to have her looked at. He wasn’t sure. He just gave me our keys and said don’t worry about her coming in personally and that he moved her to a downstairs room figuring she might need it. We were in town for 3 more days. She spent the vacation time in the hospital with a broken pelvis and hip. No one ever reached out to us to check on her. At check out we spoke to what seemed to be the owners. They just said sorry and that they would talk to the attendant. Horrible customer service!!! I would never stay here again and hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else.

We stopped here to enjoy the Thursday night market in downtown. On our way to Paso Robles this motel was a great find. The staff was super friendly amenities were just enough. Our accommodation was immaculate, clean highly recommend and will be staying here again. Thank you !

Comfortable and clean

Clean and comfortable place, very near to downtown, and right off the freeway, which is very convenient. Our room had two beds, so space was a little tight, but that is ok. The bathroom is renovated and very nice. The room had a refrigerator and a microwave, which we appreciate as we always travel with our own food. We'd stay here again.

Very nice place in SLO. The check in was easy and the owner of the hotel was very nice and helpful. Our 2 night stay was comfortable and the place is clean. The only potential issue is a lack of parking if returning late from a night out. I have stayed here before, will stay here again, and recommend it as a SLO lodging option.

Some of my ratings are not good because there was a strong sewer smell coming either the toilet or shower. This caused the entire room to smell very bad. Since it was late and I was leaving very early in the morning, I did not complain. With that fixed, the room would’ve been fine

Fine stay

It was another fine stay at this place. Some of their policies have changed, like now they charge $5 per card if they are not returned. I've stayed here many times over the years. I've been able to check in slightly early in the past if the room is available (not this time, the main boss was standing by the guy usually running the desk and he said it would be $25 for for early check in or an hour an a half early). The rooms are fine. There is a type of gym that plays really loud music early in the morning.
